Read this first!
I am usually a very peaceful person, to the point that people trample all over me. And I am not used to getting flamed. However, there are some people out there with attention-deficit disorders who just cannot help but resort to this quite unnecessary form of self-humiliation (as my friends the Witches 5 would call it). Now, for those people who have this disorder, I have only three ways of dealing with you:
  1. Post your flames for all the world to see--with some added commentaries from me, of course.
  2. Send your flames to the Witches 5 Underground Lab and let them deal with you. They are more merciless at this sort of thing that I could ever hope to be.
  3. Make an analysis of your flames and send them to the Department of Social Sciences (Behavioral Studies) of the university where I graduated in. Students could use your thought-patterns for their case studies. Now, wouldn't that be fun?
Hmmm...I'm starting to sound like my friend Stolas. Well, he's from the Underground Lab, if you're curious.


Here is something that I might consider a weird letter. Not exactly a flame, since it sounds intelligent enough, but I need to do some clarifications.

Hi, I just saw your write-up of Tsukino Usagi that appeared on the "Anime's Most Annoying Women" site, and I have three words for you:

Sour grapes, baby.

Naoko created Usagi in her own image, so it's hardly surprising that she gets the boyfriend and all the power and attention. That's right: "Sailor Moon" might be the ultimate self-insertion fic.

Now I don't know much about the manga Usagi, but I certainly know a lot about the anime version.. and if you think she gets all her power from other people, and can't figure out why everyone loves and needs her in the R movie or how she ends up as Neo-Queen Serenity, then you have a LOT of watching to do, because you don't understand her at all.

I have three words for you also: It's a cartoon. Why are you all worked up about it? Are you sure I am the one sour-graping? Perhaps it's you. We all have differences in opinions and I never tried to impose my opinions on other people. I saw the site you were talking about and it wasn't my write-up entirely. I had been asked what my opinion was and I gave it and they added it to their write-up.

And for your information, I never asked why everyone loves Usagi, or why she is Neo-Queen Serenity, or why everyone needs her in R Movie. I have seen that much for myself. I have been watching the series long before that site you were referring to ever got uploaded (it's the benefit I get for living in an Asian country). And to top that, I never thought that Neo-Queen Serenity is cool. Queen Serenity, maybe, but never Neo-Queen Serenity.

That write-up was written around a year ago, and I was very emotional then due to the fact that I was seeing too many SuperS episodes--so little of the Inner Senshi and even less of the Outer Senshi. So anyone can say I did a lot of watching, too much that I was puking on that season. And for me (this is my opinion), she did get all her powers from other people. You may want me to enumerate the people, the instances, the exact episode and movie number where donation of powers have been involved. I will upload it if you're willing to go through it.

Like I said in my mail to you, nothing is entirely in black and white. There will always be shady areas (quoted from my friend Rowena Lim of SailorMoon CyberCity). You are entitled to your own opinion the same way I am entitled to mine. I do hope you would open your mind to that fact, since I believe you are a very educated person.
