Making Your First Post

1. Go to the Steel Viper Forum. You should be logged in. If you are, the page will have "Logged in as SVx Callsign" written on the right. If it does not, you can log in by using the link "Login" on the left of the page.

2. You will see three forums, with their descriptions underneath:

"General Discussion" is the general forum for Clan communications, including any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. that you may have about MechWarrior 3 or SVx. It is also where most information will be distributed from the Keshik.

"Configurations and Tactics" is for members to post any mech configurations they find exceptional, or for tactics they use while playing. This forum is passworded so only clan members can have access. By e-mailing SVx in step 2. of the Recruits Service Bay, you will recieve a reply with the password as well as some other information. Do not share this password with anyone; clan members put a lot of effort into these configs and tactics to give SVx advantages over other units, and sharing them would destroy that advantage.

"Triasch Keshik" is for the leaders of the clan to discuss issues such as the future of the clan and recruitment methods. If/when you reach rank 8 and become a memeber of the Keshik, the password will be given to you.

3. Click on "General Discussion" to enter that forum. You will see the previous posts already made there. You can read them now or later, but please do not delay too long. Much of the information is vital to your advancement in SVx.

4. To make your own post, click the "New Topic" icon on the right.

5. Type out the subject and body of your post. Please mention your Zone name (SVx_Callsign) so we know who you are. Anything else you want to share is completely voluntary. Some people share their age, location, or in rare cases their real name.

6. You may want to preview the file before you post it, by checking the "preview" box. When you're ready, click "Add Post," and you're done.

7. You can see your post at the top of the list in the "General Discussion" forum.

8. Please close this window to continue to the next step.
