S.L.A.M! Camp Information-2003
Welcome to 2003, our third season as part of Birmingham Community Education. Here is all the important information you need to know about this year's session. To register for either week, please contact Birmingham Community Education at 248-203-3800 or at www.communityed.net
Week 1: Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27; 9a.m.-3p.m.; Featured sports-Lacrosse and Basketball
Week 2: Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11; 9a.m.-3p.m.; Featured sports-Soccer and Softball
Camp location: Birmingham Groves High School, at the corner of 13 Mile and Evergreen Road
Equipment Needs: all participants will need to bring a mouth guard, as well as appropriate athletic clothing and shoes. On days of inclement weather we will be indoors. Participants need to bring a water bottle each day. Participants also need to bring lunch each day, except for Friday, June 27 and Friday, July 11 when lunch will be provided.
*For the week featuring lacrosse and basketball, lacrosse sticks, balls, and basketballs will be provided for the participants.
*For the week featuring soccer and softball, soccer balls, softballs, bats and helmets will be provided. Participants need to bring shin guards for soccer, and softball gloves for softball. Cleats are not required, but are welcomed.

We are especially thrilled to be partnering with Speed Sports Advantage and Bloomfield Hills' own Frank Cona. www.sportsspeed.com Frank, who is a regular feature on Channel 4's State Champs! program, will bring his expertise in agility and speed training to S.L.A.M!'s participants during both weeks of camp.
