| The Vanilla Side |
| This page I will devote to the "vanilla"side of my life. What I am refering to for those of you that don't know what this is....Vanillia...is what we refer to as people not in the life. The everyday world. We in the life for the most part live in two worlds. We live in the everyday world, of family, kids, work and all those things that makes life. We also live in the BDSM world. You can't tell us from others. We don't look any different than any other person you may pass on the street. We may be your next door neighbor, the Dr., you see. We hold down normal everyday jobs and careers. We dress and act as anyone else. What I am trying to say is we could be anyone, and anywhere, and you will be none the wiser, because we are just normal people, that desire a slightly different way of living, and loving. I am trying to break into the world of writing. I am trying to get published a book, I have written. No this isn't a book on BDSM or even an Erotic book. Its a Historical Romance. I have always loved history, especially our country's. When I discovered these books, I was in my element. True history facts and romance combined. I have read thousands of thses books. And I collect them. After reading so many I thought one day, I should be able to write one of these books. It took over three years, but I did it and even have a second started. See even I am striking out on a normal career. My Master, he is a Journeyman painter. He has painted Historical homes worth millions, and five star hotels. Even a Govenors,mansion.This in itself is an everyday job. Also I am a grandmother, and an aunt. My D/s lifestyle is well hid from them, as they are too young to understand. My family is aware of the lifestyle I live, though they aren't all that familiar with it. My two children, they know, but to my surprise were into it way before I knew what it was. All in all I live a normal life in public, but in the privacy of my home, I am submissive to my Master. I perfer the privacy of our home as it lets me be free to let my hair down and to be me, to be what I am ment to be. My Master's submissive. I have many wonderful friends online, some I have met some I have not.We don't hide what we are, but we don't go into detail. Oh we play around and get a little nasty here and there but its all in fun. And my Master and I know when to stop. But if we are asked, we will explain, we don't hide. It has caused a few conflicts with some, but Master and I have our own private rooms where we invite our friends to come. If ever anything is spoken of that makes one uncomfortable, they are free to leave, though some do tend to forget they were invited and try to critasize us. For the most part we just let it go, or tell them they are free to leave. So as you see we live both of our worlds,and have been able to blend them,without offending anyone,purposely. I do wear a collar most times. I love wearing this as to me it symbolizes the committment I have made to my Master, and helps keep my thoughts on the right path.The wearing of a collar will be explained in a later page. If you were to meet me on most days or meet my Master,you wouldn't know that we live a life of D/s. |
