OK, this section is for beginners
graphic makers. You're willing to make the graphics for your site and you've
got the program, but you don't quite know how to use it... It has taken me
at least 6 months to be able to use all the possibilities of Paint Shop Pro
5, so now I'm offering my help so that it'll take shorter for you (I have
to precise that I didn't have the explanation book for the software, it got
lost two days after I got it....) If your question is more general, or about
another program such as Paint or Photoshop, send it over, I'll try to answer
it. I'll answer directly to you, but your questions and my answers will also
be displayed on this page.

I
noticed two things on your site:
a) On the "Slayer's
Quest" graphic on the main page and on some of your banners, you
have colored snowflakes and stuff. Did you copy / paste those, or was
it a special graphics tool? |

use Paint Shop Pro to make those flowers and stuff. Choose "brush"
tool, then in the "settings" window you click on the brush with
a little arrow on it, right near the scroll down menu to choose the shape.
From the menu that appears, you choose "special" or "personnalized", and
new shapes will appear such as flowers or clouds. Then you set the opacity, the colour, and off you go! |
