History:
DJ began his career as the most underrated member of Generation X. He was one the original four members, and
remained there until Blizzard. He then took a short personal break and made a shocking return in the 1999 Royal Rumble®
as the 29th entrant. He was eliminated shortly after he entered the ring, but he still made an impression. He remained underr-
ated by many critics for several more years. It wasn't until months before Wrestlemania® I that DJ's career began to pick up.
He started a fued with Torcerous, and fought him in the federation's first Table Slam Match in September of 1999. Although
he lost all of the matches against this giant, he proved that he was able to fight with the big boys. He even fought Slick in DJ's
specialty match, the Table Slam Match. Then, at the famed PPV, he won his first ever title, the Hardcore title. He proved to
the critics and other wrestlers that he could fight with the best of them, and succeed.
