   Transport aircraft Junkers Ju 52/3m was alongside the DC-3 the best known aircraft of this class in the first part of the 20. century. Originally it was used as the airliner, later served in the Luftwaffe as a bomber and finally it became the transport airctaft taken part in the battles of every campaign, above whom the Luftwaffe operated. Plane was very popular between soldiers of the Wermacht and the staff of the Luftwaffe. So they gave to it the lovely nickname "Tante Ju".
   The construction idea of the aircraft originated under the lead of ing. Ernst Zimdel in 1929. The first prototype Ju 52 (one-motored version) took-off on 13.10.1930. Another three-motored prototypes came on a request of the foreign customers account, which showed the clear enhancement of the performance. This plane was used besides the Lufthansa many foreign clients, especially in South America. There were a lot of variants with different engines, with the float or ski. Military version Ju 52/3m ge was used for pilots training but it became the basic for the next modifications. Version Ju 52/3m g3e was a bomber with the bomb-bay in the fuselage and the defensive armament as MG 15 machine gun; g5e (See) was equiped with floats Junkers or Heinkel. Also came the g6e MS version with the huge solenoidom as a mine-seeker.
