THE LOWDOWN: Though not a huge hit at the box office, Honegrown is one of the funniest and cleverest comedies of the year. When it was released on home video in September of 1998 it enjoyed a healthy return on investment for video stores. Though somewhat plagued by numerous "dope" jokes, the film rises above the puns and proves that films that aren't exactly politically correct can still be made today. |

RYAN'S PART: As the Harlan, Ryan plays the somewhat dumbwitted and naive youngest brother. He follows the lead of his older brothers and can easily be manipulated by one of their girlfriends, played by Kelly Lynch. |
