Subject: A4C Regional Training Events

Last Friday I attended a well attended Meeting funded by the MSF Southern Regional Council at MSF’s Bermondsey Street Office in London.

Nearly 30 delegates were present from all over the Southern Region covering most MSF NHS Professional Groups.

The Meeting was given an update of the Job Evaluation Working Party from Colin Adkins, MSF NHS Researcher who is on this Working Party.

A full Report was received from Keith Hutson, who is the MSF NHS Researcher, on the situation to date on the Early Implementer sites.

The afternoon session was devoted to developing a local action plan and how to prepare for implementation.

It was a very good positive day’s work, well planned, well targeted and cleanly executed.

It put paid to many of the myths on A4C circulating and gave members the opportunity to ask those involved in depth questions.

It was a day well spent and I would encourage others members to attend when these events are held in your Regions.
