Talking Turkey
Man the holidays are speeding in this year. And a bragging note-my Yule shopping is all done which leaves me relaxed and able to enjoy the holiday season. The turkey legs are thawing out-so hard to believe that thursday is feast day (and the 1st night of thursday NFL!)
Between my part time job pulling on my sleeve and other things tugging at me,I can finally set and play carols on guitar. I'm in a decorate early this year mode-I want to see twinkling lights, elves, and santas around the house. I haven't touched the flute yet but I have gotten the complete care kit and a better case for it -I keep reading how fragile they are tho the co worker laughs at this-I get to show it to her next week where I'll see how to assemble it and begin studying on my own. Book reading has lead me to Suze Ormans "9 steps to financial freedom" that I had purchased months ago at an estate sale. I think I've done more plowing in my childhood past this year then most do in a lifetime-but I will say each "artifact" uncovered reveals some quirk when it relate to $,being successful,& life in general. Amazing how your past can subconsciously affect your present & future. And it can affect how you keep (or don't keep) house, spend or save $,& most scary, how far you can go in life. I have fallen into the "shorting myself" catagory
