Happy 2008!
Well unbelievably enough, another year has flown by! And I'm feeling really good about things. I'm making plans for my business for next year,(like what to sell and stock up on) I started the new web page as posted in the blast at the top of the page, and I've gotten a low F note out of my flute when it's assembled. I even watched most of the DVD on how to play that came with the tutorial book. pretty cool stuff! My 2008 calendar is already up,and I'll be soaking beans tonight for a nice hearty stew for tomorrows dinner.(with cornbread) I'm eyeballing more vintage flutes on eBay-as I just discovered a cushion missing off one of the trilling keys on my 1955 Artley.that means when I get good enough to actually use a trilling key,it'll be going into the shop for a tune up. (and usually takes a couple of months to get it back, from my understanding)
So what to do for next year? My goals are to start walking 2-3 times a week, continue my organizing & uncluttering, and get driving. (aside from my usual improve on music bit) I can't believe the day after tomorrow I go back to my part time day job. My best wishes to all you who read this for a healthy & happy 2008!
