Sylvester Stallone stars in this re-make of the British Crime Classic 'Get Carter' He plays a Las Vegas 'Finacial Adjuster'' (Much like 'Rocky' was a leg-breaker) and goes to Seattle for his brother's funeral. As Jack Carter (Stallone) he suspects that his brother's death wasn't a drinking accident, and he suspects it was a murder.

I have, of course, seen the movie. (I saw it opening day!) and I'll tell ya, I like it alot, but, as all movies do, it had it's problems.

For one, the movie seemed to drag on, and didn't get to the point fast enough.

Two, through-out the movie, audiences suspected that Jack Carter was a real tough man, but then our thoughts prooved wrong in the end, which I don't like in movies.

Three, since it was catorgarized as Action, I thought I was going to see some nice bloodshed, when in fact there was very little.

Four, Michael Caine, the star of the original 'Get Carter' played an anti-hero, which doesn't seem right to me.

Although the movie had these faults, I give it a B+

I would have given a higher rating, but it did drag too much, which seems to happen in a lot of Stallone's movies.
