| Rocky is perhaps Sylvester Stallone's most popular character. Mr. Stallone attended a boxing match in 1976. A unkown underdog known as Chuck Wepner vs "The Greatest of all time" Muhammed Ali. Wepner didn't win, but he did go "the distance" It gave Stallone the idea to write a script about a unkown boxer named "Rocky Balboa" The movie was shot,even though no one wanted Stallone to star in the movie, almost nothing of a budget, and it had to be done in no time over one month.
