This site was created by four Eastern Connecticut State University graduate students. The idea behind this project is to introduce students and their teachers to a wide array of patterns found throughout the Indian Heritage and Culture. Students will become engaged in hands-on learning activities that follow the Connecticut Education Frameworks. Students will become engaged in several elements such as, rongoli, jewlery, how to dye fabrics, and the history of sarees. The following links are of the homepages each group member created in this site. Contact information can be found on each individuals homepages. The content that is found within Patterns of India was created in Fall 2007 for the course EDU 553- Computers in the Classroom. |
