"The Letter"

Written out of desperation, anger and fear
From a woman who stands to lose
All she holds dear.

The recipient seizes this letter;
A prized justification for her bitter actions.
Printed and displayed to the world with glee
She fails to mention the act that precipitated it's coming to be.

Consumed by rage, she denies a most precious gift of all,
LIFE!

Self-inflicted consequence; She invites feelings of isolation and non-existence.
Choosing self-pity and ignorance;
Her failure to remember the gospel truth of Family Values
And unconditional LOVE - her ill fated honor!

Drowning in a Black Sea by the weight of her own anchor,
Cold, enraged, and trapped;
She does not hear the desperate pleas for help this letter has conveyed!
While sinking deeper within her bottomless ocean,
She clutches that letter with hopes of it being her savior........

The Lord's Commandments forsaken.
The life boat passes her by.
The depths of her ocean consume the tears she cries.
A simple, priceless act of
Kindness and Love observed........
Could have alleviated all the Pain and Grief
That is now to be.

This, she cannot see!
