Also commonly known as the plate-type beamsplitter, it is an
optical window with a semi-transparent mirrored coating to split a beam into two
seperate path. As it exhibits lower absorption energy compared to most of its
counterparts, it is recommended for most laser application. However, the
emmerging ray is slightly deviated from its orignal path.
