Design Wavelengths from 560 to 820nm
Retarder film is a clear birefringent material that changes the phase of a
polarized beam of light. A quarter-wave can be used to convert linearly polarized light
(oriented at 45° from the direction of the fast/slow axis) into circularly polarized light.
Conversely, it can convert a circularly polarized beam into linearly polarized light.
