Suddenly, I cut my long hair very short the first time in ten years. The weight on my shoulder is gone and the world looks somewhat wider now. I heard that Goro kun is very particular about his hair style. I would like to know about your hair style and your opinion about women's hair style.

Do you know the origin of the word "bistro"? Generally speaking, the word "bistro" is used for eateries and small restaurants in France. But originally, the word was used for touting customers as "Our restaurant serves quick meals!" in some busy sections of the town where the competitions among the restaurant were tough. The words "touting" and "busy sections of the town" remind me of those kinky bars in Shinjuiu-Kabukicho. (Of course, I never been to such bars.) Imagine the pimps from those bars holding pink signs and shouting "It is a quick deal!". That sounds like totally insulting the prospective customers and obviously, really funny.

Let's leave the subject of inside my head, which is imaging some weird things, and talk about the secret of my hair. When people talk about me, they talk about my hair style and my forelock in a very exaggerated manner. Also, people often ask me how long it will take to set my hair which is very curly. However, even I have an easy time when we tape "bistro SMAP" because I don't have to do anything for my hair. I can hide my unruly hair into a long white chef hut. (Of course, I can't hide my the border of my back hair.)

My latest hair style is "Curly hair turning outward version". This is a minor change from "Sommelier". I don't do long hair or short hair. I just make some minor changes only. My curly hair gets totally out of control if it is long and it will look like "Gachan" in the animation "Dr. Slump" if it is short. (I have not tried this yet.)

To tell you the truth, I don't want to make any statement by my hair style although people said that I am very particular about my hair. In my line of work, the expression of hair will change from assignment to assignment. In case of "bistro...", I have to hide my hair in the hut for sanitary purpose. On the other hand, the long forelock flying all over my face while I was running away in the movie "Hypnosis" expressed the fear. Long hair moving with the rhythm is nice for dancing.

Like I just said, it may be nice for women to change their hair style by the mood of the day or by the way they want to express. It will surely open the view and fun to enjoy different hair styles. By the way, I have to tell you the secret of my hair. At the tasting of "bistro...", I think it is impolite not taking our chef's huts off. I wonder if wearing the huts is acceptable. However, inside my hut is in the state of "Gachan with long hair" and I can't take the hut off....

Goro this month (a little talk with Goro):

The editor was a little bit surprised by Goro doing the face impression of Ami Suzuki, an actress, all the sudden during the photo shoot. We would not question if his impression was good or but. However, the mood of the shooting got very relaxed from that point. The editor was quite surprised by Goro, who became friends with a 21 years old male fashion model from Scandinavia, saying "He is so beautiful. I would go out drinking with him."...??? The editor was very surprised by him saying "I gained a little bit of weight lately. I have to keep my sharp image." Then, he left into the early evening of busy street jogging. Ummm, take care.
