When I spend my evenings in my room alone, I play to the Celts music CD in low volume. I found the Celts music at the last spring's state play "The day we bomb Hiroshima". It was played as background music before the stage play was begun. I was tense but the music relaxed me gently.
Before I did "Sommelier", I thought Buster Keaton was the great comedian. He was a famous silent movie comedian about seventy or eighty years ago. His motionless face stirred up the imaginations of the audiences. I like that quiet world of comedy. It was not Chaplain but Buster Keaton.
When it comes to musical instrument, I like strings. I played violin for SMAPXSMAP Christmas Special last year. But now, I want to play cello. For some reason, I am very attracted to the sound of cello.
Nowadays, the people around me influence me. I try whatever is recommended to me at least once. I know the limit of finding something new by myself. Hence, I feel that it is better to experience something which I don't know or is new to be. Since I was a kid, I never have been prejudice.

I never know any man who doesn't like a beautiful woman. The question is "the standard of beauty". For instance, for some reason, I am glad to find some unbalanced part in a woman. She may not be perfect; that's why she is adorable. Having unbalanced part is one of the attractive characteristics.
I bought a car a while ago. It is 1973 Citroen. It more like a piece of antique with beautiful curvaceous shape. It is so beautiful that I want to display it in my living room. It is a little trouble to start the car; but being not so practical is one of the adorable characteristics of this car.
The sense of beauty might have been set up in the environment we grown up. For example, my preference for woman has not changed since my childhood. She has to have beautiful hands, long hair and somewhat unbalanced. Also, she has to be as plain as possible. Make up, manicure and hair coloring must be minimum. Woman just wearing lipstick is very exciting for men, you know. Women never understand the men's notion of woman with rings under her eyes (bugs under her eyes) being very sexy.

Things are settling down now, but when I was doing the drama, it was far from having a "beautiful life". However, I tried to keep my place as clean as possible. Busier I get, I want to keep my room clean. It is stressful to live in cluttered room. Every night, I cleaned my room before go to bed. I made my bed every morning and took out the garbage.
Speaking of beauty, I bought a piece of painting. It was a collage of Japanese paper created by an artist in Kyoto. There is another painting displayed in my room. My grandmother paints this. It is the abstract painting of bird. My grandmother is an artist. This painting was displayed at a museum in Ueno, Tokyo long time ago. To tell you the truth, I was suggested to buy a painting of naked woman, but I am not really into those kinds of paintings¡K
Speaking of my work, I have more opinions about my work as I get older. However, I am keep telling myself that there is the difference between having some opinions and being stubborn. Occasionally, it is necessary to be brave to try some totally new role. The year 99 may be just a pair of numbers, but I want to enjoy this special year as much as possible.
