Hi everybody, the time for STOP THE SMAP. It is December 14th, Monday. It is already the mid-December, how have you been? Tonight is Goro Inagaki's SMAP night.
I am hosting the show alone tonight. Where are other members? Well, I should read a post card now. This is from Yukiko living in Saitama.
"Happy Birthday. Best wishes for your 25th birthday.(Goro said Thank you.) I heard that your older sister was getting married in late October. How was the wedding? Did you sing 'If you give your heart' at the reception? If your sister became pregnant, you will be Uncle Goro. I wish Uncle Goro's wonderful 25th year."
Thank you. Yeah, it was the end of October¡K was it? Yeah, of course I attended my sister's wedding. It was at MEIJI KINENKAN. It was TAIAN KICHIJITSU( a good luck day on Japanese calendar). There were many couples getting married that day. It was such a big deal.(laughing) It was a very fine day. A really nice day. There were about 10 couples getting married at MEIJI KINENKAN. The place is very big. It was MEIJI KINENKAN in Tokyo. Oh, it was such a huge thing.
Oh, the wedding is such a big thing. Of course, it was a very happy occasion. My sister got married to a guy who she was dating since highschool. Wow, they have been dating over 10 years! She finally got married. She is 27 years old.
It was weird seeing the relatives who I met first time in 10 or 15 years. I could not even recognize some of them and ended up asking " Who are you?" You know, they know me through TV but I haven't seen many of my relatives for long time. I know this is not polite, but I ended up asking them who they were.
But it was nice seeing my grandparents. They reminded my childhood. I met them first time in almost 10 years. I am very glad to see them. I am surprised because my grandparents have not changed much. Does it sound strange to you that I haven't seen my grandparents over 10 years? But, really, I met my mother's side grandmother first time in 10 years. I felt very nostalgic seeing them again.
Well, lately, I am attending many of these wedding receptions. Recently, I attended my friend's wedding reception. It was a party after the formal reception. Oh well, there will be more of these receptions to attend in the future.
Gee, think about it if my sister gets pregnant. Really, this is kind embarrassing but I will not know what to do with my sister's child. Anyway, I am glad she got married before hitting age 30. It will be terrible if she were passing age 30 and single.(laughing) I wish her to be happy. Really. There was a song by SMAP "Uchi no Aneki o Yoroshiku" (Please take care my older sister).
Um¡KThey are starting new life together. Probably, they are planning to have a baby next year. Um¡KI can't find words to describe my feelings. Ah¡K you know this is about my family. Basically, I don't talk about my family so often. Um¡KI don't know what to say. Here is the song by Goro Inagaki "If you give your heart.".
Well, today's talk was about my older sister's wedding in October which I attended. What really bothered me at the reception was that her middle school classmates sang "SHAKE" by SMAP. I quite didn't know how to keep my straight face. Should I have sang with them? I don't know. I was kind embarrassed. See you tomorrow.
Apparently, Goro's comment "It will be terrible if she were passing age 30 and being single" did create some stair among Goro's older fans. He was not aware of the fact that he has a large fan population of female age above 30 and single. Goro's Japanese HP message board had some comments from those older Japanese fans.
