Hi! Everyone, Good evening! Time for STOP THE SMAP! I , Goro Inagaki is hosting the show alone this week, too. Today is Wednesday. Tonight is my favorite¡KPersonal Close-up night.

This is a letter from Eri who lives in Shibuya, Tokyo.

"Hi! Goro kun. (Goro said 'Hi') It was a while ago, Takuya kun said in his radio show that he wanted to do the role of Junpei in the drama "Hatachi no Yakusoku"and he bragged about that Junpei's costume was his own clothes. Do you have any role in drama played by other SMAP members which you wished to play? Also, I want your comment on what Takuya kun said."

Um, it was such a long time ago, yeah. Um, "Hatachi no Yakusoku" (Promise at age 20)¡KI was not even 20 at that time although the drama was titled "Hatachi no Yakusoku". Oh, this was such a long time ago¡K well, about 5 or 6 years ago. It was the weekly drama for Monday night 9 pm. Um¡K

This was with Miho Makise (an actress). Really, it was my first time doing this kind of drama. Well, I did the drama "Gakkou he Ikou"(Let's go to the school) before this drama but it was my first time playing the main character. I do remember this drama. I have a lot of good memories about this drama. Ummm¡K. I have some nostalgic feeling about this drama. I remember that I was running a lot for this drama, really, I was running all the time. I don't know if the role of Junpei was the role for me. Of course, playing Junpei was totally different from playing Joe Satake of Sommelier now. Ummm, how do you think?

But, I remember that people said " Ah, you play the role of Junpei in Hatachi no Yakusoku" in many places, yeah. I realized how great the influence of drama was at that time. Ummm¡K. Well, SMAP wasn't making as much appearance as now, just singing "$10" and doing "Yume ga Mori Mori". Ah, people knew SMAP's name but we weren't doing the show like SMAPXSMAP at that time. In that sense, doing a drama alone which was the golden time, Monday 9 pm, was a new thing for me, I think¡K.

I don't think I can do this kind of role again¡K it was such a hot role, getting mad, hitting someone, many fighting scenes¡K. I feel very nostalgic about the drama. Oh, it is mentioned in the post card as "Jupei's costume was my own clothes". It is true that I borrow his leather rider jacket. Oh, that's kind funny. I can't think of borrowing clothes from other SMAP members now. Renting each other's own clothes for the drama costume, um¡K that's kind fun. We don't do that lately. (laughing)It was a black rider jacket by SCHOTT. Yeah, Well, I had an image of Junpei kun in "Hatachi no Yakusoku" wearing MA-1, a khaki jumper, often. I didn't wear leather jacket that much. Um.

Well, Michitaka Tsutsui (an actor who appeared on Hatachi no Yakusoku) was really young at that time. Um, I was really busy because I was also filming the movie "Private Lessons". Oh, what can I say? I just feel very nostalgic about the drama. But, now I am doing "Sommelier". I want to do good dramas which I can look back later, may be in five year, and say "it was a good drama." I want to do the dramas which will leave the deep impression for a long time. I want to do the work which people will remember later. I really want to do the drama which is not just the talk of the time, but can be remembered by the people for a long time. O.K. Ah, I talked about the drama "Hatachi no Yakusoku" which I did a long time ago. I think each member has a memorable drama, don't you think? For Kimura kun, it is "Asunaro Hakusho". Well, what is for Nakai kun? "Aji Ichimonme", but that's show had specials till very recently, so it is not so long a go. Um¡K"Kagayaku Kisetsu no Nakade" and ¡K ummm¡Kthere are many dramas he did. For Shingo, it is "Onegai Daemon" ? or "Onegai Darling" was it? Oh, there are some memorable dramas. Um, it made me think¡K Oh, see you tomorrow. Bye Bye.
