O.K. now. This is Goro Inagaki. Really, it is a spring break now. March 31. Time passes quickly, really. April is almost here. It is spring now, really. Oh, every year...I feel the year passes quickly...(laughing) This may mean I am getting old, or I am getting busy every year...I wonder.

Ah, let's read a post card. This is from Aya living in Urawa City.

"Good evening Goro kun. (Goro said "Good evening") How is the filming of the movie "Hypnosis" which will open in June? I heard that you play a psychotherapist. Please tell us about this movie. I also heard that you went under hypnoses. I would like to know your experience of it. I am looking forward seeing the movie. Please keep up with a good work."

Ah, well, we are still filming now! We have been filming since January 25. It has been a little over two months...We just have a little more to film. It will only take 2-3 days more.

Yeah, it takes a long time to do a movie. There are a huge difference between the world of TV and the world of movies...the systems are different...totally different. No, this is not my first experience doing a movie. But, it is a first time for me to experience to go through this elaborate hand-made process of filming a movie. Well, I think this process really suits to my traits as an actor. Um.

TV, dramas... you know...I felt like I was pushed from behind when I was doing weekly dramas because what we filmed today has to be aired next week. Weekly drams has a very up tempo. In that sense, movie is easier to breath... of course, the filming itself is very hard but for acting, I can work it until I am totally convinced when I am doing a movie. Um...

Well, this movie "Hypnoses", as the title suggests, hypnosis is the theme of the story. It describes the human conscious and instability using hypnosis. Basically, the story is more of suspense holler....it is kind a scary story.

My role is, ah, a psychotherapist, a specialist. Ah, but he is not a hypnotist. He is a psychotherapist using hypnosis... You know, in the contemporary medicine, the hypnosis is used for psychotherapy.

Ah, my role is like that, then, the story is that there were lots of terrorism happened in Tokyo by either a hypnotist or someone who were under the hypnosis. My role is solving the mystery but later, the therapist I play will also confused by the hypnosis. That is the rough story line. Miho Kanno, who I worked with in Sommelier, and Mr. Ken Utsui will costar in this movie.

Well, as the post card said, I did experience hypnosis. Um...I was quite into it. It was just a basic hypnosis...I guess there are many levels of hypnosis. Basically, a hypnotist controls a person under the hypnosis. In that sense, there are three levels in hypnosis. Ah, movement control and sense control, then ah...memory control are the three levels. I was under the beginner's level of movement control. It was really basic...you know..a hand moves up and down or neck goes down...these kinds of movements are controlled under the hypnosis. Um... it was not that deep. Well, it may not be a total hypnotic experience. Um.

Ah, as most of you think and I thought so too at the beginning that hypnosis sounded like...how should I put it...ah...more like being a puppet...you know...loosing conscious and being controlled like sleepwalking, don't you think?

But, I was conscious when I was under the hypnosis. I was conscious to know what I was doing. I was able to see myself very objective while I was under the hypnosis. However, if the hypnosis advanced to the memory level, you will not know who you are. It is quite a deep level.

It is not that bad thing basically. Don't you think that hypnosis has a bad image? You know in the late night shows, some entertainers were under the hypnosis and took off their clothes. Um. Well, it is possible to do that but basically it is used for some good purposes such as for psychotherapy. I think hypnosis will get more attention in the future.

The movie will be open in June. There is not enough time till then. It has to be opened in two months (laughing) which means that it has to be edited real quick. The stuff has to work really hard now. Also, there will be the previews...for me there will be the appearances at the previews at theaters...I remember when all SMAP did "Shoot!", we all went to all over the place, even to Osaka. Ah, I did the preview appearances for "Super Scandal", too. If you don't mind and if you are an active fan, please come to see the movie. Um.

As a movie fan, not as an actor who appears on the movie, this movie is different challenging to a new territory, which can not be categorized as either psycho-holler or suspense. In that sense, I highly recommend this
