April 1 (Thursday) Hi, good evening. Time for "Stop the SMAP". It is April now. It is really spring. Ah, today is Thursday. Tonight is SMAP Night by Goro Inagaki.

Hi! One more time, Good evening. This is Goro Inagaki of SMAP. Ah, I am doing is this show alone for a while. Well, tonight, I would like to introduce two post cards regarding my traveling. The first one is Eri from Higashi Kurume:

"After you are done with the movie, you will have some free time. Tell us what you are going to do. Aren't you going to overseas trip?"

Hah, this is rather sudden...(laughing) this post card..saying "You will have some free time after the filming of the movie." Well. I am surprised. It seems that everyone already knows my schedule for this year. I am afraid being an entertainer...(laughing)

Well, it is true that the filming will be done any moment...even tomorrow. Ah, the stage plays! I will do it in June. Then, the rehearsal starts from May. This play.. I would like to talk about it but it is not really completed yet. It barely has an outline now; therefore, I can't tell you the details. I guess the rehearsal will start in May. Then, April , this month will be a little bit easy.

Oh, basically...well...as you know... we have a regular TV. I don't think I can go overseas. I want to go if I have a time. Well, Ishigaki Island, Yoron Island and Kume Island (all of them are parts of Okinawa Islands)...I prefer these islands over the main Okinawa Island. I went to Ishigaki Island twice last year. Um.. I want to go to Okinawa. It is Japan but if I have a time, I want to go there. Well, whom I will go with is secret.

Ah, let's read one more post card. Azuru living in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Interesting name Azuru...

"Goro san Good evening. (Goro said "Good evening") I enjoy listening to Goro san's Stop the SMAP.(Goro said "Stop the SMAP...") By the way, you went to Bali this New Year. Where did you go? I like traveling around Asia. I have been to Bali, Hong Kong and Thai. Bali is my favorite place. Please tell us your experience."

Yeah, I like Bali. Oh, I know, I have a bad memory about Bali. You know I was chased by Friday long time ago.(Friday is a Japanese gossip magazine.) Um...therefore...I had a bad experience in Bali.(laughing) Nevertheless, this New Year, this New Year's tour to Bali wasn't that sexy...it was purely a family vacation with my parents. Um. I really like Bali regardless to the bad experience in the past. Um.

So far, I went there three times? Yeah...ah..What is good about Bali? Oh, it is only in Bali. Bali is totally different, so authentic. As it is said as "the island of gods", Bali is very mysterious. Well, it is depending on the area. Some areas are quite developed as resorts by Japanese. There are many Japanese there. These areas are mistaken as Okinawa since there are so many Japanese tourists. But , if you go to the inland, you can experience a real Bali.

Especially, I like Ubudo that is in inland. I think those who like Bali know that Ubudo is a small town in ravine. Ubudo is more like a village which was developed by Dutch in 18th century when Indonesia was the Dutch territory. The Dutch people introduced Western culture to Bali. Bali has a mixture of Western and Eastern cultures. That is one of very attractive things there. Ah, Bali...I want to go again. I can talk about Bali forever. Let's play a song. Yes, Ah...Today I talked about traveling...traveling overseas...about Bali and about where I want to go if I have some vacation. Yeah, really, it's nice to talk about these things. I am more active than people think. I like staying home, too, but I also like going outside. Um. I really don't have enough time in my life. Ah, if you have not been to Southeast Asia, especially those students and young people, I will recommend going there. Yes. See you, Bye bye.
