"M&Ms;" Line Plots and Graphing - Everyone loves M&Ms! A fun activity where the kids can eat their math! Activities include estimating, sorting, counting, graphing, ploting, fractions, percentage, and calculating mean, median, mode	Classifying and Grouping our Class- Students will be able to identify different ways of grouping the class. They will also learn to interpret graphs of the groups, particularly in terms of which has most and which has the least.

Data Management and Analysis- Elementary Level Ideas by Lillian Forsythe, Grade One Teacher.	Graphing Data- ALFY's Survey provides children with the opportunity to express their opinions by participating in an online vote. Their vote is then tabulated with others and children can click to review the results. In this way, young kids begin to read and interpret bar graphs. They are also exposed to the concept of percent. If they want, children can vote repeatedly to see how the results are affected.
Make a Living Graph- Children learn to translate a concrete activity into a graphic representation, in this case, a bar graph.	Now that's using your head!- A fun basic graphing lab, that examines if your head size is related to how high you can jump.
Sit and Be Counted- Children gather data about their birthdays for a bar graph, then form the graph by sitting in rows.	Snack Time- In this activity, children will color the correct number of boxes in a graph to show their choices and then show their understanding of the graph's meaning through teacher-led class discussion.
