PR UPDATES

It has been a fierce battle over the PAL 5-lap record of MC3 this week as three of the French karters have been hitting some great times there. Duarte-Leite Frederic made some great times there and cut his overall SR further and moved up to #17 on PAL. Pierre L'Hoëst also did well but was quite able to secure the 5-lap WR again for this week. He did however beat Julien's lap to a new record of 0'17"89! And he slightly improved his great record on DP1 to 1'13"80! Some more videos should be up now on his page linked off the proof of times page. Eddy Lisima has now his chance at the 5-lap WR of MC3 with a new time of 1'31"06! Well done! Sami Çetin also worked on a few more records, finally setting a strong time on KB2 5-lap with the new boost strategy across the water quite close to the WR, and a new lap record for VL2 1-lap of 0'09"49! Other activity in France included Sébastien Holmière hitting several small improvements including some of the SC times on CI1, and cutting some more of his SR Score down. Also Matthias Boucher improving his GVs and some others to place himself at #38 on PAL and King C overall standard!

In Germany, Armin Huber had yet another of his great weeks where he presents us with a big list of records! He was cutting smaller amounts off his weaker times, hitting more into the Legends now as he reaches the #25 position on the PAL Players' List! He has also passed Thorsten Fellberg to be #2 in Germany! Will he start to make his way to Florian Stern to claim the German title in the near future? We look forward to seeing what PRs Armin hits! Mario Brüser also joined in this week to cut a lot off some of his Flower cup times and he climbed to Elite D Overall Standard and #63 on PAL. In the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst his been setting some strong records on GV1 and 2 and also some improvement over VL2. He is now in the Legend A overall standard just behind Swiss Champion, Raphael Braun. Not far behind and catching, Karel van Duijvenboden did some more NBTs with a great GOD lap on DP1! His KB times are also improving well. Karel is now Legend C overall standard on PAL.

On NTSC, Jean-Sébastien Dubois returned with a few PRs including some good RR times that cut his SR score down a little. Jason Fraser hit a GOD time for GV2 and another VL2 improvement. Chris Balch hit some very fast KB1 times, particularly the 5-lap time at 51", and a few other PRs. His SR score is cut down a bit more. Martin Morissette improved a bit on KB2 and VL1 lap and cut down some SR points. He may be working on KB2 again soon as he is practicing the strategies.

More PAL World Records from Pierre L'Hoëst this week as he nails MC3 5-lap to 1'30"94!! He also set a new record on BC1 1-lap with 0'17"65! Well done there Pierre! Just ahead, Duarte-Leite Frederic's PRs brought him up to #16 on PAL. Matthias Boucher made a bigger climb with a good cut on VL1 that helped him to King B overall standard and #30 on PAL.

In the Netherlands we had Karel van Duijvenboden killing his records left, right and centre once again and moving up another standard to Legend B overall, he is ranked #13 in the World on PAL. Gerard Roodhorst will have to keep an eye his rear mirror because Karel is catching fast, however, he did set two solid records this week that helped him past Raphael Braun for #11 on PAL. Willem van Voorst sends in some records and makes it to the Legends at Legend G overall standard, a #23 World Ranking and #6 in the Netherlands. In the U.K, Matthew McCarthy improved two of his records, including a good lap for BC1, that helped cut a few points down.

The NTSC half sees the success of Canadian karter, Chris Balch as his list of PRs this week bring him up to GOD standard overall! Jason Fraser set some good times on KB1 that cut down some more SR score.

PR UPDATES

Armin Huber, from Germany who has been improving very well the past few months has now secured a PAL WR for himself at Bowser Castle 1 5-lap with 1'29"11! Along with his other PRs he made a climb to Legend G overall standard and #22 on PAL! On the NTSC half, champion of Canada, Simon Laflamme had been working on KB2, still Non-NBT and he drove a very fast lap, which he may be able to take a WR on soon. He did however take the 5-lap to a new NTSC WR of 0'58"58! Chris Balch was another active karter in Canada this week who made some good progress, setting more strong PRs and improvements on weaker times bringing him up to #5 in Canada and #8 on NTSC!

Mario Brüser also kept the karting active in Germany this week with some great PAL records including big cuts off MC3 and CI2. These helped him up to Elite C overall standard and #59 on PAL. The upper Legends battle is heating up, with Gerard Roodhorst in the lead still on Legend A with some good DP1 times and a few others, closely followed by Raphael Braun who slightly lowered his KB2 5-lap and also set a nice VL1 time and a few others using Bowser for a change. But catching even faster is Karel van Duijvenboden who still remains on Legend B for now but will be in the Legend A standard and challenging Braun and Roodhorst for their positions on the list.

In Sweden, we saw some big improvements from Andreas Runnelid as he sent a list of PRs that had some good cuts all using Bowser! He made his way up to Elite A overall standard and #55 on PAL! Hopefully we will see him reach the Kings soon. Pierre L'Hoëst made a few small improvements including a pair of GOD times on GV3. Eddy Lisima made some very good times for Mario Circuit 4 this week and is now #16 on PAL and #8 in France. Matthew McCarthy chopped some time down off his KB1 lap time.
