New Members

      We have three new members to the site this week!

      Our first new member to NTSC is Adam Zaiger from U.S.A who joins with some strong standards at Elite B overall and #87 in the World on NTSC.

      Closely ranked, also from U.S.A we have Karl Ludwigsen who sends in all of his times to enter the NTSC rankings at #91 with an Elite C overall standard.

      We have a new member to PAL version. Pierre Coste's brother André Coste joins the PAL World Rankings at #100 with an Elite F overall standard.

PR Updates

      Karel van Duijvenboden produced another list of new PAL WRs this week with some great achievements in the following:  MC1 0'58"96 and 0'11"53, BC1 lap now at 0'17"45, GV2 lap WR tie of 0'12"02, KB1 5-lap 0'50"72 and BC3 5-lap reaching a big barrier soon at 1'30"18! In Germany, Matthias Mann has made more PRs getting further along GOD -3, he also included a few NTSC PRs this week. In France, Pierre L'Hoëst made some great NBT PRs on MC1 and CI2. Pierre Coste is climbing higher to #28 this week and Legend D with his latest improvements. Antoine Olivier hits GOD -2 SR with 4 new PRs. Julien Holmière reaches GOD -8 SR this week with a few new PRs. Geoffrey Label breakes the 1'00"00 barrier on MC1 with some great NBT times for MC1. Matthias Boucher makes some NBT and Non-NBT improvements and David Meister from Australia returns to SMK with a PR for Ghost Valley 3.

      On NTSC, in U.S.A, Ryan Arends hit a big list of improvements and has climbed fast to #90 on NTSC with an Elite C overall standard. Tyler Worley has also made some strong improvements including a sub 11 second lap on CI1 and has climbed to Legend D overall standard and #38 on NTSC. Not far ahead, David Smith has continued some good improvements with NBT driving this week and is now #32 on NTSC and Legend C overall standard. In Canada, Chris Balch set 3 new PRs and is getting closer to GOD -16.

New Members

      Joining the NTSC World Rankings at #93 from Canada we have Adam Tillich. He has some solid times and potential for the King standards. So far he enters SMK at Elite C overall standard.

      On PAL version from the Netherlands please welcome Lars Volkers. Lars joins the PAL World Rankings at #114 with a Master B overall standard and is also #15 in Netherlands.

PR Updates

      On NTSC, Chris Balch set a new WR for Koopa Beach 2 with 0'54"54! Along with other PRs he has made it to GOD -16 SR Score. On PAL, Karel van Duijvenboden set many WRs including KB2 also with 0'57"19. A big barrier on PAL has been taken down by Karel on KB1 with a new time of 0'49"98. He has also pushed down some more WRs further with MC1 0'58"78 and 0'11"50 and a BC1 5-lap of 1'28"33! The WRs didn't stop there as German champion Armin Huber set several strong NBT PRs and a new WR for MC4 5-lap of 1'35"06. In France, Clement Papon set a WR on Mario Circuit 3 breaking the 1'30 barrier with 1'29"84! Clement has reached #11 on PAL and GOD -7 with his big improvements.

      Many karters were active in France this week with some close competition. Up at the top, French Champion Pierre L'Hoëst set some very fast records very close to World Records aswell. Pierre Coste set 10 new PRs and is in a strong position at Legend C on PAL rankings. Antoine Olivier sent in a few PRs and has reached GOD -3 SR Score and #18 on PAL. Harold Christensen is in very close competition with Clement as he also reaches GOD -7 this week. William Jonas is close behind with 4 new PRs this week. Emmanuel Debenest returns to SMK with some good cuts to his Mario Circuit 1 times to place him at #167 on PAL with an Intermediate F overall standard. In Switzerland, Paolo Galasso returned with a great set of improvements as he climbs up to #3 in Switzerland and #51 on PAL with a King B overall standard. In Germany, Matthias Mann made some great improvements on PAL with NBT driving to reach GOD -5 and #15 on PAL so far, he still has some great potential here and we'll see him climb further soon. Matthias also did some karting on NTSC to reach GOD -6 overall standard.

     On NTSC in U.S.A, we had some very active karters including Ryan Kustusch who has destroyed his standards on many tracks and now stands at Elite B overall standard and #89 on NTSC. Karl Ludwigsen has made some great improvements also with PRs for all the cups. He has climbed to King G overall standard and #86 on NTSC. David Smith made a few PRs and climbed to #31 on NTSC. Tyler Worley is now very close behind at #33 on NTSC with several new PRs this week. Both David and Tyler are at Legend C overall standard. U.S champion Joe Bernier improves his NBT records on Mario Circuit 1 with some very strong times and is a point away from GOD -17. In Canada, Nathan Cromwell returned with a big set of improvements and a big climb on the NTSC rankings to #134. His overall standard is now Pro G. He has some great potential and we should see him climb very high as more PRs arrive.

New Members

      We have a new member from U.S.A this week joining NTSC with some strong times at #89 on NTSC. Please welcome Chris Flemmer who enters SMK Time Trials with an Elite A overall standard.

      On PAL from Australia we have Eric Scott joining Time Trials. He has some great skill and has entered the PAL Rankings at #86 in the World and #2 in Australia with an Elite B overall standard.

      Also on PAL from the U.K, Sami Çetin did some recruiting and has recruited Neil Skipper from the U.K to play SMK for the first time. His initial records have placed him at #174 on PAL with a Newbie G overall standard.

PR Updates

      We have had new WRs this week from Chris Balch as he takes GV1 5-lap to 0'59"79 and ties KB1 lap at 0'09"10, regaining his #3 position on NTSC in the process! Also in Canada, Nathan Cromwell hits a trick lap record on KB1 of 0'03"22. On PAL, Pierre L'Hoëst and Karel van Duijvenboden tie the BC1 5-lap of 1'28"29. Karel then continued to set other great WRs with KB1 0'49"53, CI2 1'06"86 and 0'12"97 and DP3 1'18"26. Gerard Roodhorst reached GOD -5 with some NBT PRs and in Germany, Armin Huber made some great WRs on MC3 lap of 0'17"45 and MC4 5-lap of 1'34"94. Clement Papon also improved his MC3 5-lap to 1'29"35.

      On NTSC in U.S.A we had a lot of activity with a long list of improvements from Adam Zaiger as we see him destroy many of his standards and climb to King A overall standard and #53 on NTSC. Tyler Worley is fighting his way through the upper Legends as he lands on Legend B overall standard and #29 on NTSC; close behind at Legend C, close to Legend B is David Smith who is now ranked 30th on NTSC with 5 new PRs this week. Ryan Arends sends in some new PRs and lands at Elite A overall standard. Karl Ludwigsen also greatly improved his standards with several new PRs this week and a climb to King E overall standard and #74 on NTSC.

      On PAL version, in the Netherlands, Lars Volkers sent in some improvements and is now Master A overall standard. Matthias Mann in Germany is getting stronger with NBT driving and is now GOD-6 SR Score overall. Paolo Galasso in Switzerland made another improvement to his VL1 PR. In France, Harold Christensen improves his MC1 fastlap and Matthias Boucher cuts a bit off his DP3 and GV3 times. William Jonas has made some big improvements this week and a big climb into the Top 10 on PAL with a GOD -7 SR Score. Julien Holmière improves his VL2 5-lap. Anthony Pichard makes some big cuts to his times and climbs to Legend G overall standard and #38 on PAL. Emmanuel Debenest returns to SMK this week and improves his times fully to reach a new standard of Expert E and #158 on PAL. Pierre Coste has again hit many great PRs and is now Legend B overall standard and #26 on PAL.

Slightly early check for PRs this week

      Just to let you know I had to head out a bit earlier on Saturday so I was unable to check the PRs sent in later than 17:00-18:00 GMT, just so you know if you find a few later PRs are not updated. But not to worry as I will collect these and keep them for next weekend's update. Keep on karting everyone!

New Members

      A new karter has joined the NTSC World Rankings at #103. Please welcome Matt Leeper from U.S.A who has started his SMK Time Trials here at Elite E overall standard.

PR Updates

      Many WRs have again been broken this week; The champion of France Pierre L'Hoëst makes a CI1 WR of 0'57"11. Also in France, Julien Holmière had a battle on VL2 and took the lead with a 5-lap WR of 0'49"82!. Meanwhile Clement Papon improved his MC3 5-lap WR further still with a 1'29"09 time and reached 0'17"45* fastlap that is now in a 3-way tie with that of Huber and Karel van Duijvenboden. Karel also made new WRs on DP2 fastlap of 0'17"06 and a crazy VL2 lap of 0'09"27. He has also tied the great WR at Rainbow Road 5-lap of 1'26"96*. On NTSC, Christophe Paquin smashed all of his times including a good run through his NTSC trick and glitch records to reach some new WRs; DP1 trick 5-lap 0'33"64, GV2 trick 5-lap 0'48"32, DP3 trick 1'03"36 and 0'04"13, GV3 trick 1'00"70 and 0'02"11 and RR trick 5-lap of 0'52"58. Along with the rest of Christophe's times he has made a massive climb to GOD -10 and #10 in the World on NTSC.  Very Well done! Nathan Cromwell also made a big list of improvements and has climbed fast to King G overall standard and #87 on NTSC. He also delivered a new trick WR lap on VL2 with 0'02"84.

      In France, Matthias Boucher and Sebastien Holmière set some improvements and both cut a bit of SR approaching GOD -11. Harold Christensen took the lead of the competition in the GOD -6/-7 region with his latest 9 PRs to reach #10 on PAL. Anthony Pichard climbed another standard rank to Legend F and #36 on PAL this week. Pierre Coste made some good improvements reaching Legend A overall standard and #25 on PAL. William Jonas set a few PRs this week and is in very close competition with Christensen. Antoine Olivier cuts some more SR Score down this week with more improvements and Franck Mazières returns to SMK with some good improvements to DP1 and reaches Legend A overall standard. In Germany, Matthias Mann climbs to GOD -7 SR Score and #14 on PAL with some strong NBT and Non-NBT PRs. In Australia, Eric Scott is already well on the path to reaching #1 in Australia as he cuts his way through to King F overall standard and #74 on PAL. In the Netherlands, Lars Volkers submits 16 great new times and breaks through to Elite G overall standard and #110 on PAL.

      On NTSC in U.S.A, Chris Flemmer improves on all cups very well. He has climbed to King E overall standard and is now ranked #71 in the World on NTSC. David Smith and Tyler Worley have continued competing with some fast times being set. David is now Legend B overall standard and has reached #28 on NTSC and Tyler's latest big cuts have taken him to exactly 0 SR Score for GOD standard overall and #27 on NTSC. Adam Zaiger continued his work from last week with some Mushroom, Flower and Special Cup times to reach Legend G and #50 on NTSC. Guilherme Arantes from Brazil returned to SMK with a few PRs cutting some SR Score down. Hero Nake of Japan also made a return with a few new PRs this week.
