NEW MEMBER

    A new member to NTSC this week as we welcome Oliver Segarra Gonzalez from Brazil. Oliver enters the NTSC World Rankings at #35 with an NTSC Overall Standard of King C! Oliver has some great skill in SMK with many years of Time Trialing. He is also now the SMK Time Trial Champion of Brazil! Congratulations Oliver and welcome to the site!

PR UPDATES

    Karel van Duijvenboden made history this week with NBT driving on MC1. He set a new PAL World Record which finally broke the next big barrier and now stands at 0'59"99! He also made a suprise MC3 PAL lap WR of 0'17"79! Sébastien Holmière worked hard on KB1 and improved his 5-lap along with a really fast lap WR of 0'09"61! PAL World Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst continues his title defence with some nice BC2 PRs and finally after weeks of playing, a new 5-lap PAL WR on Rainbow Road with 1'27"34! On NTSC, Chris Balch has been very active aswell with some good improvements, his GOD times on CI2 being very strong, he set a 5-lap NTSC WR at 1'06"79!

    The rest of the PAL activity included several more players from France, with Matthias Boucher on his approach to GOD overall with a few PRs. Axel Descamps made 6 PRs and cut some points down. Guillaume Leviach played a few courses and set 4 PRs, climbing up to #45 on PAL. Antoine Olivier made a large number of new records and climbed to Elite A overall standard and #56 on PAL. Julien Patry is now in close competition with Antoine as he defended his position with some small PRs on MC1 this week. In the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst continued work on Rainbow Road and broke the 1'28" barrier and also made a GOD standard lap PR.

    On NTSC from Canada, Xavier Jutras was busy setting many PRs throughout the week, and he has made it to King F overall standard, #46 in the World on NTSC and #12 in Canada. Chris Williams set 9 PRs including some fantastic times on the KBs! He is climbing the ladder quickly, and has already reached Elite G overall standard and #61 on NTSC.

NEW MEMBER

    A new member from Switzerland this week to PAL version. We welcome Dominic Lenz who is a friend of Raphael Braun, Serge Ludescher and Paolo Galasso. Dominic has sent us all of his SMK Time Trial records and has entered the PAL Players' List/Rankings at #55 with an overall standard of Elite A.

PR UPDATES

    NTSC World Champion, Jamie White made a little return this week taking the BC1 NTSC 5-lap WR back by 0.01 to 1'26"80. Chris Balch broke more barriers with new KB1 NTSC WRs of 0'48"78 and 0'09"39! Christophe Paquin also made a great achievement with a NBT WR on CI2 5-lap with 1'06"73! On PAL, Champion Pierre L'Hoëst worked on BC2 with a good 5-lap result and a new WR lap of 0'20"15! Karel van Duijvenboden improved his MC1 1-lap PAL WR to 0'11"60! In Germany, Armin Huber hit many courses hard with NBTs and more GOD times were achieved. He climbed to #14 on PAL and has reached the GOD standard overall on PAL!

    The NTSC activity was great this week, with Brazilian Champion, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez making PRs on most courses destroying the standards that he had before and climbing much higher on the NTSC list to #21 in the World on NTSC overall! Oliver has also reached Legend E overall standard on NTSC! Toshi Miura of Japan made records on some Flower Cup and Star Cup courses and climbed to #16 on NTSC with an overall standard of Legend D. In Canada, Chris Williams made several more PRs and climbed to #60 on NTSC with an overall standard of Elite E. In U.S.A Ray Bergstrom made small PRs on KB1 and cut a few points off.

    Back on PAL In France, Matthias Boucher also fought very hard, he made less PRs but destroyed some of his records, including that of KB2, he reached GOD standard overall and continued climbing. He reached some more of the French group and landed on #10 in the World on PAL and #5 in France! Julien Patry continued his improvements with more King times and a position at King G overall standard on PAL! Julien is at #54 on PAL now. Not far behind, Antoine Olivier made many PRs and came close to reaching King G standard, but did climb to #55 on PAL. Raphael Braun made a few PRs this week including a strong VL1 record.

NEW MEMBER

    A new member has been added to PAL version this week as we welcome Prashant Bhoja from the U.K as he makes his entry with a Pro C overall standard and a #92 position on the PAL Players' List. Welcome to the site!

PR UPDATES

    We have had 19 active members on the site this week! Highest ever was 25 in a week, so we were not far off! Some great results once again from Karel van Duijvenboden who drove a great new NBT CI2 5-lap WR on PAL with 1'08"77! He also lowered his MC4 lap WR to 0'18"84! Karel has now passed Michael Jongerius to make him the new Dutch Champion and also #4 in the World on PAL! Armin Huber attacked on MC4 to try and take some records, his lap was good although Karel defended his WR there, but Armin held together consistent laps for a great new 5-lap WR of 1'36"55! Armin climbed past quite a few karters and is now #10 on PAL! Pierre L'Hoëst worked on KB1 and made a new 5-lap WR on PAL with 0'52"03! Along with his lap PR he cut a few points down.

    On NTSC, in Japan, Toshi Miura hit a GOD time on DP2 5-lap along with some other nice PRs, he climbed to #14 on NTSC and is now Legend C standard overall. Activity in Canada included Chris Williams tearing apart his KB times again, his KB1 records getting ever faster. His other PRs also helped him to climb to Elite D overall standard and #56 on NTSC. Chris Balch worked on NBT MC1 and GV1 this week. He aimed for the 5-lap WR on GV1 and came fairly close with a high 1'00" time. Xavier Jutras hit a few PRs and climbed to #45 on NTSC. Canadian Champion, Simon Laflamme worked on his KB1 times and managed to push the 5-lap under the 50 seconds barrier. In U.S.A, NTSC World Champion Jamie White set a NBT MC1 lap PR and a small PR on KB1 lap. Darcy White also karted a little with a small PR on MC3. Ray Bergstrom hit a pair of KB1 GOD times.

    Other PAL activity included Axel Descamps of France with several improvements all round the courses, he climbed to Elite D overall standard and #68 on PAL. Sébastien Holmière made a nice KB2 NBT 5-lap PR. Matthias Boucher made 5 strong PRs to defend himself from Armin Huber, Matthias climbed to #9 on PAL with his records this week! Antoine Olivier and Julien Patry had another battle this week, Antoine set many new times in the Kings and settled on King F overall standard, #49 on PAL and #21 in France. Julien Patry almost made it to King F with his 5 PRs, and is likely to make it next week. He has also climbed to #50 on PAL and #22 in France. In the U.K, Matthew McCarthy was experimenting with GV1 this week and landed a GOD time on the fastlap. Paul Tanney, the British MKDD Champion returned to SMK this week and is making great progress so far on a few courses, he has climbed to #111 on PAL and is now Expert B overall. We look forward to his next set of improvements. In Switzerland, Raphael Braun made a good Non-NBT PR on MC1.

NEW PHOTOS ADDED TO GALLERY

    New updated photos of Chris Balch and Martin Morissette from Canada have been added to the SMK Photo Gallery this week, you can check them out. If anyone else would like to have their pictures on the gallery, please send them to yahoogroups.

PR UPDATES

    This week was again active for both PAL and NTSC. New PAL World Records were set as Champion Pierre L'Hoëst delivers a new KB1 improvement to 0'51"62! German Champion Armin Huber made a selection of PRs and a new NBT WR on CI1 5-lap with 0'59"08! Armin climbed to #9 this week passing Matthias Boucher. Dutch Champion Karel van Duijvenboden set a lap WR for CI1 using NBT with 0'11"36!

    NTSC activity was very busy with the return of a great karter, Tommy Dickinson who has been working on a lot of races and cut down a lot of points. He made it to Legend C overall standard this week and #14 on NTSC. In Japan, Toshi Miura defended his position from Tommy with a few great PRs including KB1 with the faster sliding technique. Toshi is still on Legend C, but nearly Legend B now and he has climbed to #13 on NTSC. Champion of Brazil, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez sent in new improvements this week that helped him climb to Legend D overall standard and #19 on NTSC. In Canada, Chris Williams has been on a mission to reach the Kings overall, so far his new improvements have brought him up to Elite A overall standard and #15 in Canada and #50 in NTSC. Martin Morissette set a few PRs and cut a few points down off his SR Score. Ray Bergstrom passed Kevin Booth for #22 on NTSC with a couple of KB PRs. Nathan Stinson returned to SMK after long inactivity and set a few DP PRs helping him ti reach #26 on NTSC, we look forward to seeing his improvements! Xavier Jutras hit a couple of MC3 PRs.

    Back on PAL in the U.K, Paul Tanney has been destroying most of his PRs left, right and centre, he id flying up the ladder and is now at #101 on PAL with an overall standard of Semi-Pro A! He will reach the Pro's next time with ease and the Master standard karters will probably have competition soon. Paul made an Elite F time on MC1 lap and his first King G on MC2 lap! Matthew McCarthy played some NBT MC1 with good results and VL2 where he hit a good Legend time and will take a GOD time there soon. In France, Julien Patry has again been in competition with Antoine Olivier. Julien worked on the BCs and made it to King F overall standard and #48 on PAL. Antoine's PRs came close but Julien took the lead this week. Antoine did climb to #49 on PAL this week though. Axel Descamps hit a couple of PRs and reached #67 on PAL this week.
