PR UPDATES
This week brought us a new PAL WR from Karel van Duijvenboden for Choco Island 1 5-lap with 0'57"43! Also in the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst set a really fast MC1 non-nbt lap. Activity in France has also been great this week with Pierre L'Hoëst breaking the VL2 1-lap WR with a new time of 0'09"47! Sébastien Holmière hit 3 PRs and has secured the 4th place on PAL with the results. Brachet Axel was busy hitting many new records and has climbed to Semi-Pro A overall standard and #127 on PAL. Matthias Boucher hit several GOD times and has hit -9 SR overall. David Bonne returned to SMK with 3 PRs and is catching up to Olivier. William Jonas also made some small cuts with 3 new PRs this week. In Australia, Nick Moncrieff-Hill worked on one of his weaker courses, DP2 and has crushed his previous times with a pair of new GOD standard times. This has brought him up to Elite F and #89 on PAL. He has also passed Frank Sweet for #3 in Australia. Once more of Nick's weaker times are improved, expect him to rise up the PAL rankings quickly! In Germany we had a GV2 platform jump PR from Armin Huber and a small RR lap PR from Sebastian Stellmacher. Armin managed to keep #3 on PAL with his PR. In Norway, Marius Hukkelås drove 6 new PRs with a GOD lap on VL1. This has helped him climb to #57 on PAL. According to the message board, a rivalry is taking place between him and Chris Clark as they are currently tied in SR Score and quite close in matchups. Paul Tanney in the U.K made some more quick PRs and has reached Master F overall standard.
On NTSC, in Canada, Haroon Shakeel Subhani continued to hit some strong PRs and is starting to catch up to some of the higher ranked active karters on NTSC. He has passed Stanley Jeram for #15 on NTSC and #6 in Canada. Chris Balch made a VL1 non-nbt 5-lap time and Jonathan Girard hit some PRs bringing him even closer to Joe Bernier. Mike Serpente has driven his latest set of PRs that are landing in Elites and Kings with a pair of Legend times for CI2. He has reached Elite B overall standard and #74 on NTSC. Expect him to reach the Kings soon!

SEBASTIÉN HOLMIÈRE RETIRES FROM NBT & STAYS WITH NON-NBT
Sebastién Holmière has informed us this week that he will retire from playing NBT driving and continue to pursue Non-NBT driving. Good luck with your Non-NBT PRs Seb!
PR UPDATES
Joe Bernier has returned to SMK and is showing his great skill with two new WRs for BC1 with 1'26"63 and 0'17"10! He has also hit numerous other PRs that brought him up to -7 SR Score! In Canada, Jonathan Girard was in close competition with some great PRs on BC1. Haroon Shakeel Subhani destroyed his MC2 times with the long boost technique and has worked on his VL2 records, aiming for the WRs of Jamie White. He is well on the way there and should hit them soon! He also had a massive SR cut and climb on the NTSC World Rankings to #10 and also to #5 in Canada.
On PAL Version, Karel van Duijvenboden drove some Non-NBT PRs that cut a few points off his SR Score, he is getting closer to a crazy -15 SR. In France, Pierre L'Hoëst worked on VL2 non-nbt with some good results. Harold Christensen took BC3 lap a bit further. Antoine Olivier had a good collection of Legend PRs with a few in GOD standard that have helped him to reach Legend C overall standard. William Jonas has been hitting many more GOD times and has now climbed to #15 on PAL and #6 in France. Matthias Boucher has also been making very strong times and is heading towards -10 SR Score.

SEBASTIÉN HOLMIÈRE RETIRES
Sebastién Holmière has informed us this week after his decision last week that he will fully retire from SMK. He will still be visiting the site and on the message board and stuff. It is possible he might make a return some day but for now he has announced his retirement from SMK Time Trials.
NEW MEMBERS
We have two nw NTSC members this week.
The first new member we have is Tom Radovich from U.S.A who has driven all of his records landing him at #87 on the NTSC World Rankings with a Master B overall standard.
The next new member is Bo Garman, also from U.S.A. He has driven SMK Time Trials with records placing him at #84 in the World on NTSC with an Elite F overall standard.
PR UPDATES
This week brought us a new WR on PAL version from Champion, Karel van Duijvenboden with 1'42"36 on Bowser Castle 2! PAL activity in France had some PRs from Matthias Boucher as he slowly cuts his way a bit further towards -10 SR score. William Jonas set 2 PRs cutting a few points down. Champion of France, Pierre L'Hoëst made another cut to his VL2 5-lap that is now in the low 52s. The rivalry between Norwegian Champion, Marius Hukkelås and British karter Chris Clark continued as each karter set 6 PRs this week. Marius took the lead this time with #56 on PAL and also reaching King D overall standard.
On NTSC, we saw an amazing week from PR-ing machine Joe Bernier in U.S.A who is starting to threathen to top ranks of SMK. He has hit 16 new PRs, many of them using NBT to a strong standard! He was likely aiming for -8 SR Score this week, and he has actually nearly reached -9. It is very likely he will hit this next week, then some of the next karters on the list will have a battle on their hands to defend their positions! Tommy Dickinson made a return to SMK this week with a few PRs that helped him pass Chris Williams to #22 on NTSC. In Canada, Jonathan Girard set a KB2 5-lap PR and Chris Balch set a DP2 5-lap Non-NBT PR that is getting closer to the WR.

NEW MEMBER
We have a new member to NTSC from Japan this week. Ryota Kawato sends us all of his Time Trials Records and enters the NTSC World Rankings at #121 with an Apprentice F overall standard. We look forward to seeing Ryota improve his records in the following weeks.
PR UPDATES
We have a number of new NTSC World Records this week! In U.S.A, Joe Bernier hit 3 new World Records; those were a new 5-lap WR on Mario Circuit 1 with 0'57"81! Choco Island 1 has also been a success as he takes two WRs at 0'56"34 and 0'10"73! Joe is now catching up to Masakazu and should pass him next week if he continues his improvements. In Canada, Chris Balch takes Donut Plains 2 after weeks of work with some very strong records of 1'24"87 and 0'16"67 and also improved KB2 5-lap to 0'56"22. A great achievement has been done by Haroon Shakeel Subhani as he takes VL2 5-lap WR to a new mark of 0'47"37! Haroon has been working on a tape that is on its way to Laflamme soon. Haroon has made several other improvements to take him up to #9 in the World on NTSC and #4 in Canada.
This week also saw a return from Japanese karter, Ha Nyan with his latest big set of PRs that have cut a large amount of SR score placing him at #17 in the World on NTSC! In Canada, Jonathan Girard also hit a few PRs and cut some SR score. His MC3 NBT lap is looking solid. From U.S.A, Aaron Miarka made a return to SMK after a long period of inactivity. He has already hit 4 new PRs including some big MC2 cuts, long boost style. His overall standard is now Legend C and his World Ranking is #26 with #6 in U.S.A.
On PAL, a small battle continued as Norwegian Champion, Marius Hukkelås drove 7 PRs, cutting down some of his SR Score. In the U.K, Chris Clark worked hard to catch Marius and is now very close as he reaches King D with 10 PRs. Marius still slightly in the lead, the battle continues next week! Also in the U.K, we had a return from Steven Cotton with a number of PRs bringing him up to Elite C overall standard and #78 on PAL. In Australia, Nick Moncrieff-Hill came to destroy his BC1 and BC2 times with some very good cuts, placing him at Elite E overall standard and #87 on PAL. He still has many more races he can cut big time off that will help him on his way to reaching #1 in Australia.In France, William Jonas made some small cuts to 4 of his PRs, he is currently working on NBT GV1. French Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst has made some good improvements for both NBT and Non-NBT.

CONTEST
I have been in talks with Walter Day of Twin Galaxies. He has informed me of some news of a gaming contest between London and Paris. He has asked me to post the news up for all of you to read. NEW MEMBERS

First new member to NTSC is Kristopher Lamp from U.S.A who enters the NTSC World Rankings at #116 with an overall standard of Expert C.
The second new member we have this week joining the site is Kyle Clayton from the U.K for PAL version. Kyle has driven all of his time trial records putting him at Pro B overall standard, #118 on PAL and #26 in the U.K.
PR UPDATES
It has been very active on NTSC with some karters hitting new WRs! In Canada, Haroon Shakeel Subhani has been climbing fast with several new records including an amazing barrier broken on VL2 and also a great lap with new WRs of 0'46"77 and 0'09"02! Chris Balch held together a consistent KB2 NBT race with a great mark of 0'55"59! In U.S.A, Joe Bernier also hit some World Records for CI2 with 1'05"18 and 0'12"68! Amongst those were also many fast NBT and Non-NBT times that have helped Joe pass Japanese champion, Masakazu for #7 in the World on NTSC! Also in the U.S, Craig Lubbers made a small cut to VL1 lap and Aaron Miarka worked on a few PRs pushing him up to #25 on NTSC. In Japan, Robin Usher came back with his latest PRs including an Elite time on BC2 lap and a few more PRs hitting the Masters. His overall standard is now Pro E overall standard, very close to D, so expect more climbing up the standards from him soon. Robin is now also #99 on NTSC.
In Switzerland, on PAL, Raphael Braun returned to SMK with some NBT PRs and some Non-NBT and has reached #13 in the World on PAL and made a big SR cut. In Norway, Marius Hukkelås continues to defend his position with a few new PRs on BC1 and BC2. In the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst improves his MC1 Non-NBT time. Activity in France this week had a small PR from William Jonas for CI1 and a couple of PRs from Antoine Olivier. Harold Christensen also set a few good times this week, but lost a rank to Braun. We will see if a battle continues here.
