FIRST NTSC GOD OVERALL STANDARD KARTER!!
Great news this week! We have a GOD overall standard Karter on NTSC! Louis-Philippe Sabbagh, Canada, World Champion of NTSC has driven two unbelievably fast KB1 records that have taken his SR below 0.000. He is now on GOD overall standard. Congratulations!!!

PIERRE L'HOËST TAKES SAMI'S GV2 LAP WR!!
Pierre entered the site last week and is already hitting PRs! The main story about his improvements this week is that he has managed to hit a PAL WR on GV2 Fastlap with the strategy the NTSC players are using. It has helped quite a bit as he has a new record that is 0.15 seconds faster than the previous WR. He hit some other nice PRs at King and Legend level, altogether contributing to his new Legend F overall standard achievement!

SÉBASTIEN PEREDA PASSES TWO PLAYERS
Sébastien Pereda sent in some nice PRs this week to continue the battle between the King C/D PAL Karters. It was a success with some great times all round. He hit many King times and VL1 lap is a GOD times with a bonus point. DP1 and MC2 are looking good at 1'18". Sébastien has climbed up to King B on the overall standards which also made him pass two more karters. This places him at #8 in the World on PAL and #4 in France.

ARCHIBALD LEFEVRE REACHING THE LEGENDS
Archibald was a point off the Legend G standard last week, now he has reached Legend G overall as a result of his 11 great PRs. VL2 was probably the highlight of his PR'ing this week as he made some great Legend times there, the 5-lap at 56 seconds! Archibald Lefevre not only made it to Legend G but also managed to pass Edwin Peeters for #6 in the World on PAL!

ANDREW KENT'S SUCCESS ON KB2
Following Andrew Kent's success on KB1 last week, he moved on to KB2 to see what damage he could do, and he took his times down seriously! After a series of improvements, he managed to lower his course time to 1'06", then and eventually a low 1'06". The fast lap went under 13 seconds!

THE RETURN OF RUNNELID
It has been quite a while, and now Andreas Runnelid from Sweden has returned to SMK once again. He made some lap PRs this week which were pretty good improvements. Starting to use D.K.Jr and Bowser is helping to make bigger cuts on the courses now for Andreas and will help him to climb further through the Elites. Sadly, he was one point from reaching the next overall standard, Elite E. Next week he is sure to achieve this.

NICOLAS IMPROVES GV2 LAP L'HOËST STYLE

NEW PAL MEMBER
A new PAL member from France, Thibault Ludwig who has also appeared on Nicolas's site has entered the site this week! He has some outstanding times on a few courses including MC1 which is a high 1'01"!! Thibault has reached Elite G on the overall standards, and is placed at #25 on the PAL Players' List.

40 SUPER PRS FROM GLEN NORONHA!!
Glen Noronha has been the top karter this week by re-doing all of his times for ever course and lap! He has made some outstanding improvements in comparison with his previous times. The fastest ones to look at are BC2 which he drove a pair of Master times, an amazing achievement give the difficulty of the course. His highest standard was an Elite time on Rainbow Road Fastlap!! He has managed to climb all the way to Expert A on the overall standards!! He has also managed to pass two karters in the climb!

Sébastien Pereda hit many PRs, mainly focusing on Flower Cup. A few points were taken down on MC1 and DP1, but BC2 and MC3 were the main improvements in terms of SR score. NEW MEMBERS
We have some more new Karters to the site this week, one for PAL who is a close friend of Sébastien Pereda, and the other for NTSC who is another recruit from Stanley Jeram.
First up on the PAL entry we have Franck Mazieres from France, who has played SMK for many years and has some very fast times on some courses. He is Elite F on the overall standards and #26 on the PAL Players' List.
The NTSC entry recruited by Stanley Jeram is from Ontario, Canada and his name is Bryan Bautista. Bryan is currently on Expert B on the overall standards and #50 on the NTSC Players' List.

ARCHIBALD'S SR CORRECTION AND NEW PRS
It had been discovered this week that there was a miscalculation somewhere along the way these past few weeks/months with Archibald Lefevre's SR Score. Sadly, the result was that he wasn't Legend F, but still on Legend G. This also means that he is 2 points behind Edwin, but the main thing is that the correction has been made, so everything should be ok now. Other news is that Archibald did make some nice records this week, it looks as though he will be up to Legend F again in no time with the amount of great PRs he makes.

ANDREW KENT HITS LEGEND TIMES ON RAINBOW
Andrew Kent made some nice PRs on Rainbow Road this week, the 5-lap under 1'30" (a Legend G time) and the lap record also Legend G in the high 17s. He also reported to have made some slight improvements on DP1 and GV2 lap records. His SR is getting closer to King E now, more Australian records are on the way and Ademir Cortes is not really all that far ahead at King C. Andrew Kent may be able to take the #1 in Australia position at SMK sometime.

TWO MORE NEW MEMBERS THIS WEEK
We have two more new members entering the SMK site this week! New players just keep pouring in all the time, which is really great!
Our first new member is Simon Laflamme from Canada, our new NTSC entry. He has driven some nice times altogether and is on the Elite E overall standard. His world Ranking is currently #27 on NTSC.
Our second new member is Björn Kühn, who is currently the fastest SMK Player we have on the site from Germany. I recruited him from Jan Beier's site and he has sent in all his PAL times. Björn's overall standard is Master B, and is #31 on the PAL World Rankings.
FRANCK MAZIÉRES NOW IN THE KINGS!
Recent PAL SMK entry, Franck Mazières, has submitted 25 great new PRs that have helped him climb past many players until he reached the Kings! Many of his weaker standards have been improved upon and he is hitting many King times all round. His MC4 has also gone into Legend times as with his MC1 5-lap which has been lowered even further. Franck is definitely a Karter to watch out for as he has great potential in become one of the best PAL Players, and will definitely add to the competition in France. Franck is now at King G overall and at #15 on the PAL Players' List.

RAPHAEL BRAUN CLIMBING TO KING C
Raphael Braun has returned to SMK with more time to play SMK, and this week he improved on many courses. He drove a GOD Lap record on VL1 1-lap and some nice Legend times on GV2 5-lap and 1-lap, BC2 5-lap and VL2 1-lap. There will be more Legend times on the way! Raphael has managed to pass Julien Chabanis on the PAL Players' List for #10 and has reached King C, not far from King B!

KELLY MALO NEARING THE NTSC KINGS
Kelly Malo played SMK quite a lot this week and hit many King times, along with a few Legend times. His MC1 has gone under 1'01" and he made some big cuts on lap times like DP1 1-lap. He has passed a few players now to reach #15 on the NTSC Players' List, he stands at Elite A overall, just a few points short of King G!

STANLEY JERAM'S MC4 WRS
Stanley Jeram has returned from his short period of inactivity, and after seeing the saved state of MC4, decided to try and improve the NTSC WRs. He was successful time and time again making improvements on both course and lap. Eventually the lap time got to a Legend D time, as did the course time which went sub 1'39"! There is still more potential here for both course and lap and we will hopefully see Stan make more successful new WRs here soon!

IT IS TIME...
Yes, my exams were over, then they threw more assignments at us all in College to keep us busy. But I found some time to Kart! I have many tracks I would like to try out but I have to say I wasn't too successful when attempting many of them. Eventually I got some good driving going again. Then I headed off to the course that has been calling out to me....CI2. Again I found it difficult to do, but I got what I wanted as i took the lap WR, and a bit later the course WR. A few SR points off my SR Score, I guess it was worth it. I hope I will have some more time to kart soon.

ARCHIBALD LEFEVRE REACHED A PAL WR!
Archibald Lefevre had karted CI2 a week ago and these times didn't get through yahoogroups on time for some reason. He managed to break Nicolas Clementy's WR on CI2 5-lap. These were later taken back by another karter (see news heading above), but congratulations go to Archibald for achieving a World Record during his week. He now has two GOD times on CI2, cutting off some more SR points. Archibald has managed to regain the #6 on Position on the PAL Players' List by overtaking Edwin Peeters.
