PR UPDATES

Sébastien Holmière of France made a return to SMK this week destroying many of his records! He even hit a PAL WR on KB1 1-lap this week that broke the barrier to 0'09"93!! Sébastien passed Kalle Videkull once again to take the #4 position on PAL. He is catching Pierre L'Hoëst pretty fast. He passed 3 karters on #93 on the PAL List and has a new overall standard of Expert C.

On the NTSC side, Martin Morissette completed his task of reaching 40/40 GOD times after grabbing that time he wanted on DP3 lap. He also made a few other improvements on his slightly weaker VL courses. Aaron Miarka made some small cuts to his weaker times this week including MC4 which will go down further soon as he learns the best racing lines. Aaron climbed to #17 on the NTSC list. Ray Bergstrom improved DP1 and GV2 to reach the next karter on the list. He now stands at #20 on NTSC. NEW MEMBERS

Two new members join the site this week!

First up is Gary Flint from the U.K who is entering the PAL List at #75 with a Pro A overall standard. He already has some great GV2 times amongst others.

On NTSC from the U.S.A we have Gilbert Giang who enters at #61 with an overall standard of Semi-Pro A. Welcome to the site!

PR UPDATES

A great week for French Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst as after his long struggle he hits 5 great PRs this week including sub 10 second laps for KB1 and VL1. These records along with others helped him to -6 SR score and he has passed Michael Jongerius to be the #2 ranked player in PAL! Congratulations Pierre! Matthew McCarthy also had a similar week with some cuts on KB1 and VL1 along with a few others helping him to pass a few players, including the Champion of Switzerland, Raphael Braun. The scores are very close still so we may see some competition or Matthew may take a further lead and head for Legend A very soon. Matthew is now ranked #10 in PAL! Gerard Roodhorst makes some quick improvements on GV3 that were GOD and Legend B times for 5-lap and 1-lap respectively. Arlaud Ludwig of France returned this week with some good PR cuts including a 1'01" time on MC1. He is getting closer to King F and passed some players to be #44 on PAL!

On NTSC, Gabriel Laflamme had a fantastic week with a great number of new records, some using Bowser and some with Mario. His large SR cuts shot him up to Semi-Pro F overall standard; he also passed some karters on the list up to #63 in the World on NTSC. Simon Laflamme didn't want to leave us without a record as he takes one off Jamie on GV3 1-lap with a great 0'14"50 NTSC WR! Ray Bergstrom worked on one of his favorites again, DP1. He set a great sub 1'15" time this week that cut two SR points off. Ray passed Dirk Olson back for #19 on NTSC. Aaron Miarka cut down 6 SR points this week that helped him to pass both Andrew Livingston and Tommy Dickinson! Aaron is now ranked #15 on NTSC! Martin Morissette kept at VL2 this week trying out the island jump. He has hit a decent 9 second lap there so far, expect more soon as his potential is looking good!

Chris Balch from Canada emailed us all of his records, MC1 of which he has some very strong times! He has set himself up well to start off with by having a Master A overall standard and an entry to the NTSC World Rankings at #55, he is also #17 in Canada.

Another entry from the U.K as we welcome Martin Payne to the PAL World Rankings as he enters at #71 in the World on PAL, #14 in the U.K. His current overall standard is Master E.

NEW PHOTO ADDED TO PHOTO GALLERY

A new picture has been added to the SMK Photo Gallery as Gary Flint, U.K sends us his photograph. Any photos from members who have not sent them yet are welcome!

PR UPDATES

Quite an active week with members in the Pro-Master area setting PRs left, right and centre! Pierre L'Hoëst however still kept on top of things with his KB1 driving by taking the lap WR on PAL to a superb 0'09"85!! Over in Germany, Armin Huber was the one to watch for this week as he destroyed many of his records and flew up to Master D overall standard very quickly. He is now #68 on the PAL World Rankings. Expect him to be in the Elites in no time! Daniel Caterbow followed behind with some records for MC1, BC1 and VL2 that got him up to Pro B and #78 on the PAL Rankings. The British karters also kept active with our recently joined member, Gary Flint performing similarly to Huber with a long list of records including some fantastic times for GV2 for his standard. You have to check them out. Definitely a ton of potential here for Gary as he is already on Master E overall and #72 on PAL! Dan Hooper dropped by for a few records that are making him a little closer to reaching the Legends. Serge Ludescher of Switzerland made another suprise return after working hard on most of his courses and has made it to his target of Legend G overall standard and #19 on PAL. His KB2 times are getting ever stronger. Over in Australia, Andrew Pinchen tested out different characters on a variety of courses and came up with 14 PRs that helped him up to Semi-Pro B overall. He will be in the Pros easily soon. John Neville's PRs on GV1, KB1 and KB2 have seen him up to Expert B this week. Gerard Roodhorst was the only active Dutch karter this week but he certainly shocked everyone with some scary GV3 records, the lap taking 2nd place on the Top 100s.

On the NTSC side we have Martin Morissette attacking KB1 with the faster strategy, his lap is getting near the 10 second barrier so expect him to pass that soon and his 5-lap looks good so far. Simon Laflamme had a similar week with VL1 as he fights his way through there. A little slowdown on lap 3 of his 5-lap run cost him time, but he still made 2 good PRs there. Gabriel Laflamme also chipped in with CI1 where he clearly had potential the last time he played. He nailed a pair of Master times there, well done! Ray Bergstrom played some more of his weaker MC4 time and is closer to the 1'40"00 barrier.

The active players from the past few weeks have stayed on top of the competition as Armin Huber of Germany has yet another impressive week. He destroyed more of his records and flew up to King G overall standard, #48 on PAL and #4 in Germany. POM award for November has gone to Armin, well done! Three of our great British karters we also keeping up with Armin's pace very well as we see Gary Flint with a long list of improvements climbing to Elite E overall standard, #62 in the World on PAL and #11 in the U.K. Martin Payne also followed closely behind as he is now near the Elites with a Master A overall standard, a PAL World Ranking of #69 and a #13 position in the U.K. Matthew McCarthy had a little battle on his hands with Champion of Switzerland, Raphael Braun. Raphael attacked with some superb KB1 and VL1 records and made it to Legend A, taking back the #10 spot at one point. Matthew McCarthy fought back with some general records including a great lap for CI2. He also made it to Legend A and is #10 on PAL again. The race is on for these two to reach GOD standard and start catching other karters. Raphael wasn't the only active Swiss karter this week as Serge Ludescher started attacking KB1 with the faster strategy and passed some karters in the Legend G standard to reach #17 on PAL!

Activity in France had Duarte-Leite Frederic improving 11 of his records and climbing to King D and #37 on PAL. French Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst has been working hard on VL2 and has really cut the lap down low. Andreas Runnelid of Sweden also made a return this week and tried out some courses with Bowser, making some good attempts at CI2 and BC3, he climbed up to #59 on PAL and is getting much closer to other Swedish karters on the PAL Rankings. Maybe we will see him pass some of them soon. Andrew Pinchen continued his improvements and has climbed up to #89 on PAL. He will be reaching the Pro standard soon. John Neville cut a large amount of BC3 and VL2 which really helped as he made it to Semi-Pro G overall and #96 on PAL.
