NEW MEMBER
A new member to PAL this week, from the U.K we welcome David Reed who sends in all of his times and is ranked at #104 on the PAL World Rankings with a Pro B overall standard.

PR UPDATES
On NTSC, in Brazil, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez delivered us a great new WR on Ghost Valley 2 fastlap with 0'11"61! He has a video on his page for that. He also made a few other PRs and cut some SR score down. On PAL, Karel van Duijvenboden made some strong results on KB2 this week with a 58 second 5-lap and a new lap WR which is 0'10"91! Pierre L'Hoëst set a new MC2 lap WR at 0'13"39!
The rest of NTSC had activity in Brazil from Carlos André Salles with quite a few new records and a climb to King E overall standard and #47 on NTSC. In Canada, Chris Balch made a sub 1'14" time on GV3 5-lap. Canadian Champion, Simon Laflamme drove a fantastic MC3 5-lap Non-NBT time, that is a WR on the Non-NBT site. This cut a point off his SR score.
On PAL, in the U.K, Alasdair Morrison continued to improve many PRs and has now climbed to Master C overall standard, #91 in the World on PAL and #17 in the U.K. Matthew McCarthy worked on RR with some strong times on both the 5-lap and 1-lap. In Germany, Danijel Danilovic continued to work on his strong MC2 long boost times with some nice records including a sub 14 second fastlap! He has reached King A overall standard and is #30 in the World on PAL and #3 in Germany! German Champion Armin Huber also tried MC2 and made a good cut, along with a strong DP2 lap. In Sweden, Andreas Runnelid set 3 PRs that helped him to reach King F overall standard. Kalle Videkull improved BC1 lap to a GOD time.
In the Netherlands, Arno van den Barselaar is making good progress with 8 new PRs that cut down quite a few SR points bringing him a bit closer to Elite F. Gerard Roodhorst drove a fantastic DP3 fastlap that is Non-NBT and some strong Non-NBT times for MC2 and DP2, he reached -2.000 SR score with his results. In France, Clement Papon set 8 PRs and has reached King B overall standard and #38 in the World on PAL. David Bonne made a few small cuts to MC3 and KB2. Axel Descamps reached King G overall standard with his latest PRs and he climbed to #64 on PAL.

I will be going home for the weekend next weekend so there is no update then. The next update will be on Sunday 21st November, keep those PRs coming in anyway during this week as the POW award will still be running. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Another new member to PAL version this week.. Jonathan Wheatley of Warwick in the U.K sends in all of his Time Trial Records and enters the PAL World Rankings at #79 in the World and #14 in the U.K. His overall standard is Elite F. Welcome to the site!
PR UPDATES
On NTSC, in Brazil, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez went on to take the GV2 5-lap WR aswell with a new time of 1'00"34! He has also made some other good cuts and is now at -6 SR score! On PAL, Matthias Boucher hit his first WR with a great new 0'58"22 PAL WR on Koopa Beach 2 5-lap! Karel van Duijvenboden worked hard on GV1 1-lap and managed the beat the WR there to 0'12"22!
On NTSC, Carlos André Salles had a great week with some fast improvements. His KB1 is getting better and he hit a sub 1'01" on MC1. He is now King D overall standard and has passed Marco for #2 in Brazil and #44 in the World on NTSC. In Canada, Chris Balch had a good try on Ghost Valley 2 with a pair of fast times close to the WRs. Chris Williams made his climb into Legend F with a pair of fast GOD times on CI2 and some other nice PRs. He is now #28 on NTSC.
On PAL, in the Netherlands, Marco Olyslager returned with 9 PRs and cut some of his SR Score down. In close competition, Arno van den Barselaar fought with some BC1 and GV2 PRs that helped him take the lead at #82 on PAL and having climbed up to Elite F overall standard. Gerard Roodhorst set some strong MC3 PRs.
In France, Axel Descamps made 6 PRs climbing to #59 on PAL and #26 in France. Pierre L'Hoëst set a few small NBT PRs on MC1 and GV1. David Bonne set 2 Legend records for MC3 and MC4. Franck Mazières worked his way up to Legend D overall standard with 3 PRs this week. Antoine Olivier made several new PRs including some good NBT DP1 driving. He has climbed to King B overall standard and #37 on PAL. Just ahead, Clement Papon has some PRs of his own to defend his position there and stands at #36 on PAL this week. In Germany, Armin Huber makes a few small PRs. In the U.K, Tom Gaffikin has been working on some courses, and provides us with even stronger times for his Rainbow Road.

NEW KOOPA/TOAD PAGE AND OTHER SMK MATERIAL
Pierre L'Hoëst has provided us with some new links this week, one of them is the new Koopa/Toad Records link, which has replaced the old one in the links section above, check it out. Also he has put together a collection of other pages that include ROMs, Mario/Luigi times, and some history on the evolution of the WRs. This week we have Jonathan Girard from Canada who is joining the NTSC World Rankings up at #48 in the World on NTSC and #13 in Canada. His overall standard is King E. Welcome to the site!
On NTSC, from Brazil, we also welcome Eduardo Marques, who enters the NTSC World Rankings at #52, with a #4 rank in Brazil. He is also King F overall standard.
Lastly, we have Tobias Biroga from Germany who karts on an NTSC SMK and enters the NTSC World Rankings at #82 with an overall standard of Pro F.
PR UPDATES
This week on PAL, in France, Matthias Boucher continued his work on KB2 NBT with some new results including a barrier broken with 0'57"78! Also in France, Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst has driven a very fast GV1 NBT lap and another PR on MC1. Franck Mazières has made some good times for BC2 and MC4 this week. Antoine Olivier made 6 small PRs that cut a few SR points down. David Bonne climbs to #24 on PAL with some strong Legend PRs and a GOD time on VL1 flap. Clement Papon makes it into the Legends at Legend G with his latest lot of PRs. He is also now #13 in France and #30 in the World on PAL.
In the U.K, David Reed has karted on quite a few courses and has made a climb to Master G overall standard, #96 in the World on PAL and #20 in the U.K. Alasdair Morrison's latest records have helped him to reach Elite G overall standard, he is also #88 in the World on PAL and #16 in the U.K. Tom Gaffikin set 6 PRs this week, some which cut quite a few points down, he is now almost at King F standard, and has passed 5 karters to reach #60 on PAL. This includes passing Matt Leech for #10 in the U.K. Matthew McCarthy set a new RR PR this week that cut an extra point. Jonathan Wheatley suprised us all with a massive climb in the Rankings up to King F standard as he PRs on just about every course. He is now ranked at #56 in the World on PAL and #9 in the U.K.
In Germany, Sebastian Stellmacher has been PR'ing most courses and making massive cuts to times and SR Score. He has set a few very fast GOD times and is now Legend E overall standard, #19 in the World on PAL and #4 in Germany. Not far ahead, Danijel Danilovic has also made an really fast climb into the Legends. His MC2 long boost is getting faster, and other times that he has on other courses. Danijel has climbed to #17 in the World on PAL and #3 in Germany, not far behind Florian Stern. He is also Legend C overall standard. Germany Champion, Armin Huber worked on a few GVs and DP2 and cut a few points down.
In the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst cut a point off with a GV2 5-lap PR and a few other small records. Michael Jongerius hit a great non-nbt 1'00"99 on MC1 after working on the pipe jumping on the corners, this cut a point off his SR. Marco Olyslager hit several records that have taken him up to Elite F overall standard, #79 in the World on PAL and #10 in the Netherlands. Dutch Champion, Karel van Duijvenboden set a strong GV3 5-lap PR.
On NTSC, In Canada, Simon Laflamme worked on a few times, such as MC1 Non-NBT with some great results and also KB2 flap non-nbt where he also hit a great time. Chris Williams hit King and Legend PRs that have helped him up to Legend E overall standard, #8 in Canada and #24 in the World on NTSC. In Brazil, Carlos André Salles made good records for MC1, DP1 and KB1 that included GOD times. He has climbed to King C overall standard and #38 in the World on NTSC. Brazilian Champion, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez has driven many new records including some great fastlaps, all of which are GOD times. Most notable are his MC2 long boost records! He is catching up to the 3 fastest Canadian Karters, Martin, Chris and Simon, so expect a battle in the next few weeks.
