NEW MEMBERS

    A new member to PAL this week as we welcome Geoffrey Ewbank from Belgium! Geoffrey has joined high up at King F overall standard and is ranked at #52 on PAL and #2 in Belgium! We look forward to seeing Geoffrey improve his PRs and maybe challenge Peter Toch to be the fastest in Belgium.

    And a new member to NTSC as William Cox from the U.K joins. William has an NTSC snes and is the first British karter to join the NTSC rankings. His overall standard is curently Elite F and he is #63 on NTSC.

PR UPDATES

    New NTSC World Records were set by Champion Jamie White with 0'18"35 on MC4 1-lap, and a new WR set on KB2 lap with 0'10"54! Japanese Champion, Masakazu Goto has improved a few of his other courses this week and made some good PRs. He has also taken the World Record for GV1 lap to 0'11"94! Karel van Duijvenboden set quite a few PRs including a PAL WR on CI1 lap with 0'11"01.

    The rest of NTSC activity included Toshi Miura hitting some nice GV3 and RR PRs, and also a great improvement on his Mario Circuit 4 records! Toshi is starting to catch up to Stanley Jeram, once he cuts more SR points he may gain another rank on the NTSC World Rankings. In Brazil, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez was also hitting some nice times, BC3 is looking great! Oliver passed Juan and is now #11 on NTSC and #1 in South America! In Canada we had a battle for 4th place between Chris Balch and Martin Morissette. Both were setting some strong PRs, Chris worked more on Non-NBT PRs and landed a point ahead of Martin, making him #4 in the World on NTSC and #2 in Canada! Chris Williams made 7 PRs and climbed to #31 on NTSC and #10 in Canada this week.

    On PAL in France this week, David Bonne made a few PRs from Flower, Star and Special cups and climbed to King B overall standard, #34 on PAL and #14 in France. Not far behind, Guillaume Leviach made a return with many great new PRs and a climb to King D overall standard, #43 on PAL and #18 in France. Matthias Boucher improved his French Record on DP1 5-lap and a few other PRs. In the U.K, Matthew McCarthy set a great pair of KB2 NBT PRs that cut his SR score into -5. In the Netherlands, Gerard Roodhorst set solid GOD times on BC2 that helped him past Nicolas Clementy on the PAL World Rankings for #12 on PAL.

SEPTEMBER 11TH

    As you all know, yesterday was September 11th, and it has been 3 years since the attacks happened. I would like us all to pray for those who lost their lives on that day 3 years ago and for their families and friends.

NEW MEMBERS

    We have a new NTSC member from Japan this week! Kazutaka Yamauchi has driven all of his times and now sends all of them to enter the NTSC rankings at King A overall standard, #30 in the World on NTSC and #3 in Japan on this site. Kazutaka Yamauchi has been working on the long boost of Mario Circuit 2 and has reached some fantastic records, his 5-lap is even a record that is faster Masakazu Goto's time! We look forward to seeing Kazutaka improve his times on other courses and climb into the Legends very soon.

    And we also welcome a new PAL karter from Sweden as Christofer Svensson joins after sending us all of his Time Trial Records. Christofer has entered the PAL World Rankings at #83 in the World on PAL and #9 in Sweden and he has an overall standard of Master D.

PR UPDATES

    Karel van Duijvenboden had a good week on both NBT and Non-NBT and improved a few PAL World Records including DP1 flap to 0'14"13 and CI2 flap to 0'13"08!

    On NTSC, in Japan, Masakazu Goto improved his VL2 lap quite well and is getting closer to becoming #2 on the NTSC Rankings. Toshi Miura has worked really hard this week and has destroyed many of his records! His KB times are really getting fast now. He has cut off a lot of SR points and has climbed to #7 in the World on NTSC! Brazilian champion, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez has been working on a few courses of each cup with some strong records for MC1 and RR and he is catching Louis-Philippe Sabbagh quite fast now, he will probably gain another rank on the NTSC list by next update. Also in Brazil, Carlos André Salles has been cutting large chunks off many of his PRs on many courses and has climbed far up to Elite C overall standard and #54 on NTSC! In Canada, Martin Morissette made a tiny PR to his BC1 5-lap. Chris Balch also improved BC1 and hit a GOD 5-lap and a Legend A fastlap. Jean-Sébastien Dubois made a return to SMK with 10 new PRs and a climb to King E overall standard, #47 on NTSC and #13 in Canada.

    On PAL, German Champion Armin Huber has been working on some of his weaker courses and has cut many SR points off that have helped him to climb a few positions on the PAL World Rankings. He is now just ahead of Matthew McCarthy at #6 in the World on PAL! In France, Axel Descamps has been attacking the higher Elites with some solid records and is now Elite A overall standard and #60 on PAL. Antoine Olivier has also been setting many records and has climbed to #60 on PAL. Julien Chabanis has made a return this week and has made many PRs in the Kings and Legends and has reached King A overall standard, #28 in the World on PAL and #12 in France. PAL Champion, Pierre L'Hoëst made some NBT PRs on MC1 and DP1 that cut a few points off. In the U.K, we had a return from Jamie Stirzaker with some nice MC1 PRs, the 5-lap being a 1'01" time.

NEW MEMBER

    We have a new member on PAL this week. Clement Papon of France sends in all of his Time Trial Records, entering into the PAL World Rankings at #73 with a PAL overall standard of Elite F.

PR UPDATES

    This week on NTSC, Brazilian champion Oliver Segarra Gonzalez has made it to 10th place after some strong NBT times including some nice work on MC1. He has passed Louis-Philippe Sabbagh on the NTSC rankings. Carlos André Salles improves 6 PRs with a good cut off VL2 and climbs to Elite B overall standard. He landed in a tie with Jon Tabor and won the matchup to be #53 on NTSC. In Canada, the battle for 4th on NTSC has been continuing between Chris Balch and Martin Morissette. Chris made some nice NBT improvements on MC1 and Martin did some NBTs on MC3 and a nice 1'00" time on GV1 not far from the WR. Martin managed to pull ahead in the end and has taken #4 on NTSC this week. Also in Canada, Antonio Abdo has been making good progress with some nice PRs and a climb to #25 on NTSC and #7 in Canada. in the U.S.A, Nathan Stinson has been improving many more PRs and his picking up the pace now as he reaches Legend E overall standard, #22 on NTSC and #9 in U.S.A.

    On PAL, in France, Julien Patry has been busy making 27 great new PRs and is now at King D overall standard, #48 in the World on PAL and #20 in France. Not far ahead, Julien Chabanis has continued with a few PRs on DP3 and GV3. In the U.K, British Champion Sami Çetin sent a few PRs in that are on his tape along with his Non-NBT MC1 1'00"99 time. The PRs were on DP1 and MC2 and they helped his SR reach -10. Matthew McCarthy cut a few points down also with MC3 and GV3 PRs. Jamie Stirzaker who is currently #8 in U.K returned last week with a few PRs and has continued this week to set more. He has climbed to #49 on PAL so far. In Germany, Armin Huber set more good NBT PRs and is cutting more points off his SR Score. In Sweden, Christofer Svensson who recently joined the site has been making some new PRs on Flower, Star and Special cups. He has improved his overall standard to Master C. Andreas Runnelid sent in a few PRs and climbed to #54 on PAL.

NEW MEMBERS

    Two new PAL members this week!

    First up we have Sebastian Stellmacher from Germany who has some superb BC1 records, and some other strong times. He has entered the PAL World Rankings at #65 in the World and #7 in Germany. Sebastian is Elite C overall standard.

    Secondly, we have another German karter, Danijel Danilovic who enters the PAL World Rankings at #84 in the World and #9 in Germany. He is Master B overall standard.

PR UPDATES

    On NTSC this week it has been very active in Japan, with Japanese Champion Masakazu Goto making some amazingly fast new NTSC World Records for Mario Circuit 2 of 1'07"52 and 0'12"50! He didn't stop there as he made a largecut off his VL1 times and a few other courses. He has now passed Simon Laflamme and is 2nd Place in the World on NTSC. Kazutaka Yamauchi of Japan has also been working hard on MC2 with a nice 1'08" time! He also improved a few other PRs and is now Legend G overall standard and has passed Mark Sunderland for #29 on NTSC. Robin Usher from Japan has been hitting many PRs all round the tracks mainly using Luigi. He has reached Apprentice A overall standard and is catching up to Kort Everett Jackson. In Brazil, Oliver Segarra Gonzalez continued to attack the higher ranks with some strong KB and VL PRs. He has passed Stanley Jeram for #9 on NTSC! In Canada, the battle for 4th place continued as Chris Balch took the MC4 5-lap WR from Masakazu Goto to 1'33"74! He set some other good PRs and regained his 4th place back from Morissette. Gabriel Laflamme set some good PRs during his return this week and climbed to Semi-Pro C and #84 on NTSC this week. In the U.S.A, Nathan Stinson set a small PR on Rainbow Road 5-lap.

    On PAL, in Germany, Armin Huber set a few Non-NBT PRs and cut a few points off his SR score. In the Netherlands, we had a return from Arno van den Barselaar who set quite a few PRs this week and is nearly reaching the next standard. Gerard Roodhorst set strong Non-NBT PRs on BC2 and is just behind Jérôme Gava on the PAL Rankings. In the U.K, Jamie Stirzaker set 6 nice PRs and is nearly reaching King D overall standard. In France, Antoine Olivier set some strong DP1 records and also cut some points down off his SR score. Pierre L'Hoëst sets a GV1 trick 5-lap PR.
