Fenugreek
trigonella foenum-graecum

the antidiabetic properties of fenugreek seeds.
The active ingredient responsible for the antidiabetic properties
of fenugreek is in the defatted portion of the seed that contains
the alkaloid trogonelline, nicotinic acid and coumarin.
