RUNES:
Runes are an ancient alphabet made up of a combination
of Germanic, Anglo-Saxon and Scandinavian letters.
The Runes characters are actually very similar to the Latin alphabet,
except that the lettering is made up of mostly straight lines.
(Perhaps, because they were often carved into wood with a straight edge.)
The word 'Rune' is derived from the Old English/ Old Norse
term 'run,' which means mystery.
And the letters were used for more than a thousand years,
dying out sometime between the 13th and 16th centuries.
Today, they are often used in a psychic's tool bag for aiding in predictions.
