Lido Deck

Behind the gym area on the Lido deck (Deck 9) are the Apollo Pool and the Venus pool plus a couple of whirlpools. The pools are separated by the Venus Bar which serves your typical variety of pool side refreshments. The outdoor stage in the pool area includes a mosaic replica of Botticelli's "Birth of Venus". Moving aft you come to the Mermaid's Grille which serves as the casual buffet dining area. As you might expect the decor includes mermaids - suspended over head - and dolphins. This area is most popular for breakfast and lunch. In the middle of the Mermaid's Grille is the 24 hour Pizzeria which serves some of the finest pizza at sea.
The aft end of the Lido deck includes the Poseidon pool and spa and the Poseidon bar which is nice place to have a drink and watch the sea fade off into the distance behind you. This area includes a bronze statue of a trident bearing Poseidon riding on top of three dophins.
