SCHOOL’S
HISTORY
The cost of the school was RM888,000 which was fully funded by Kelantan Government and was completed in the mid of 1982. The administration of YPINK (Kelantan Islamic Development Foundation) invited these officers to discuss the opening on 29 Julai 1982:

The Headmaster of the school – Secretary
The committee
was entirely agreed to the
proposals below :
i. The headmaster was Mohyedin Jamal
ii. The headmaster assistant was Us. Mohamad Yusoff Ibrahim
iii. The registration of the students was fixed on 1 October 1982
iv. RM57 000 was allocated to purchase the equipments.
v. The name of the school was Religious Secondary School of State of Kelantan ,Padang Siam ,Tanah Merah.
A
proposal named “ The Opening Ceremony of
Religious Secondary School
of State, Tanah Merah” was
presented in the director meeting of PKINK (Kelantan Development Body )
Paper 10 to get the permission to open the school in 1983 and to ask for
additional financial grant of RM 85
000 from the state government. Whereas, grant of RM 57 350 for buying furniture
will be taken from Arabic donation fund. On 12 Disember 1982 PKINK applied to
MUIK ( Kelantan Islamic Religion Council ) to register the school
On
27 Disember 1982 the honourable Chairman
of PKINK approve the grant for sciences laboratory equipment with
the total of RM 26 825 to the school. On 16 Januari 1983, Chairman MUIK
wrote letter to PKINK to mention that the committees body which had meeting on 4
June 1982 agreed to approve the school registration with the reference number
(58) in MUI.(KN) 458/67.

the school were :

The number of students in the early 1983 was 192 people and at the end of 1983
was 206 peoples in 7 classes from Remove to Form 4. On 15 September 1983, school
was instructed to conduct Thanksgiving Ceremony because the school had received
special grant from Education
Ministry. Minor scholarships were also given to students. In 1984,, the school
started taking Form five students and the students were 354 in number in 10
classes with 16 teachers. In 1985, the school had 431 students in 14 classes
with 21 teachers including 4 from Education Ministry.

In 1986 also, Islamic Girls
Society was established with Ustazah Salma Mohd Kassim as
the advisor. The school get 100% pass
in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level. The teacher , Cikgu Wan Rosli Mat Yem
received honorary gift from YIK ( Kelantan Islamic Foundation ). In 1987,
the number of students were 606 studying in 16 classes with 29 teachers. In the
same year, for the first time the school had to have afternoon session because
the shortage of the class. Form one and two were in the afternoon session
whereas the rest of classes in the morning session.
