Much of the chat involved questions from people (something over 347) about: is there going to be a Mon Mothma or any will there be a Beru type of thing. Apparently some people haven't read or just wanted confirmation on the new releases list ... which I guess is fine. Here is some new news to me: 1. Jen hinted that if the EU figures sell well, that Kenner would make more. This is a big hint and message! 2. Steve told us that the EU figures will NOT have Freeze Frames, but will have Pop-Up cardbacks that recreate scenes. A cool idea. 3. Steve also admitted that the figures to be released with coins will be just repaints and remolds/new poses of old figures. Jen added something to the effect that Endor Luke and Endor Leia would be similar to their Speeder Bike counterparts, just with a few added details. 4. Jen asked the group of 347 how much we would pay for an Imperial Shuttle, and then she tossed out a $100 quote. This is not saying they'll make one, but perhaps her way of letting us know they've considered it. 5. Jen said she has a personal desire to see a new Skiff. I hope she gets her wish. 6. Steve said they are looking into a way to allow us to get the Scanning Crew Technican other than with a M.Falcon Carry Case. But this was iffy. 7. Jen had good news on a Wedge figure. She said that he would not be carded, but come in another unique way. That leave IMO either a 3-pack idea or a fan club exclusive. 8. Good news for 3-pack fans, both Jen and Steve seemed to like the 3-packs and said that more would be on the way ... well, actually I think their words were more like we would be seeing many 3-packs. 9. If anybody was worried about the Prequels marking an end to the classic trilogy figures ... well worry no more. Steve said that the classic figures would be around for a long time! :) 10. Kenner will be making several other items with figure pack-ins. One example was a Computer Interactive playset that sits over your computer keyboard. When figures step on certain places, your computer does certain things. Another thing is a new board game with a figure or two. 11. There will be a Luke with slicked back Trash Compactor hair ... that would be cool. I'm sure there is more that I missed. Despite the complaints that will likely follow, if you are good at listening and don't know everything (like me), then there was plenty of good NEW information to be learned. The major bad news was the two moderators could barely read the questions, so they seemed to answer the same persons questions several times. I think next time, Jen and Steve should be in separat chat rooms and they should hire on a few more moderators! I would do it again. But I noticed many people, but no familar names. Michael Mierzwa
