Well it seems we have problems with the ad staff yet again this year, but we don't have a treasurer to worry about this time. Sunshine, the came director, has a hobby of changing our schedules without telling us. She loves to throw surprises into the mix that throws off our entire schedules. Our girls, though they are only with a three day porgram, have not taken a shower at all becuase of some dumb hike that Sunshine threw in there that was supposedly "more for the counselors' benifit." It was just a load of crap - she told the girls everything that I would have said to them. Der! Does Sunshine thank we are idiots?


Rainbow, the assistant director, is a huge...I can't even think of the word now. On Friday, she had headr that a lot of people were complaining about Bluebell. They were just little petty things here and there and Rainbow didn't have to courage to talk to her herself, so she calls Firefly (love that girl!) over and practically forces her to go and tell Bluebell. Firefly did not want to be put in that position as anyone wouldn't, but she went and told Bluebell.


Now Bluebell doesn't make a big deal about it when Firefly tells her, and Firefly asks her not to make a big deal about it in the meeting. She hoped Bluebell wouldn't bring it up, but it was bound to happen. So Bluebell brings it up and Sunshine shuts her down! Sunshine had called her in earlier and made it sound like she did something really bad, so Bluebell got all stressed, and then Sunshine doesn't even let her talk! Sunshine is alwasy saying "If you have any problems with how I handle things, come to me," yet she completely shuts Bluebell down! Then Raibow comes over to Firefly and says "Why didn't you say anything?" What is with that?! Firefly put herself in a horrible position, then Raibow accuses her of not doing anything?! I can't even think of a word to descibe how mad this makes me! RARRRARARRAR!!!!


Okay...rest...relax...sigh. Well, the weekend wasn't so bad. I stayed again and bonded with the couselors. We went to Walmart and bought stuff. I got DOVE CHOCOLATE!!! YAY! Don't worry Dad, I havn't downed the whole bag yet. I share with people, that's how I eat less. I have three pieces sitting right in front of me as I write this and I have not temptation to eat it right now.


After Walmart we all ate lunch at Bob Evans which was actually really good. I got this new Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad and it was goooood! Then we headed back to camp and sat and relaxed in the pool for about three hours. After that we went ot Millers and came back and fried fish for dinner! Firefly is a master cook! She taough me how to pan fry shrimp and salmon and talapia. YAY! It was so good! Sunshine came over to enjoy the feast (we had to let her, she bought the fish. :-)) and mad a nice dip for the shrimp. I think I have that depressive food thing Mom has, becasue I stuffed myself and then felt really sad. It's really weird...


Then me and Firefly sat on the back porch of Tall T and she enjoyed a cigarette. It was her first in like 10 days! I'm so prud of her! YAY! She promised by the end of the summer she would quit, and she has been doing better. She asked why I care so much and I told her that I just don't like seeing people I care about hurt. She playfully slapped me and said "Don't get all mushy on me!" She loves the Dove and she likes the messages in the wrapper even better. I gave her one that said "There's a time for compromises: 'later'" That so fits her personality!


Well, I gotta go get ready for Mother/Daughter Camp. I get to sit in the sun and fish all day! Yay. Woohoo. I hope Sunshine remebers that umbrella she promised me. She has a habit of saying she will do something and never doing it. I will try to stay positive. Yay! There we go. Okay, bye!
