Mother's Day Poem It's hard for children to understand, when it comes to the ways of a Mother, They think she'll always be there, they'll always have each other. If only they could realize, the heartaches she goes through, If only they would listen, to what she tells them to do. If only they could hear, her heart that beats inside. If only they could count, the many nights she cried. If only they would take some time, and walk a mile in her shoes, Maybe then they would realize, the pain a mother goes through. So make every day Mother's day, love her like no other, Worship the ground she walks on, because you only have one Mother. © Alice Donatelli,2004 Ware,Massachusetts Authors Comments ~ Tell your Mother every day that you love her, because one day you may not be able too. |
