In light of  recent events the creators of Celebrity Bears and Mascot Bears would like to announce their…..

 In the last year tragedy has struck small and large schools across our nation. Without warning our young students while in school have had their worlds torn apart as violence has rampaged their classrooms and their very playgrounds.

As owners of JC Bears Inc., both mothers of school age children and the wife of a high school teacher, we feel compelled to do something on a positive note. Therefore we have created:

Though we have made mascot bears for schools we would like to introduce our first National Mascot Bear created by us and designed by a high school art teacher. Teach... the Golden Rule Bear is to be a symbol for peace, love and hope in today's schools.

The color of the bear is white to remind us all of the purity of our young.  The little red, one room schoolhouse embroidered on the front of the bear is to represent the true meaning and history of our first schools.  A place where children should be able to learn, play and feel safe.

The peace sign embroidered on the back of the bear has three words embroidered within the sign:

LOVE………that we all love one another

PEACE ……. that  we practice peace in our lives

HOPE……. that we hope for safe schools

The hang tag simply says TEACH on the outside with the inside saying "The Golden Rule."

Part of the  proceeds from the sale of this bear will go to:

    . The Mile High United Way    Denver, CO

    . KidsPeace.......Is the largest, most comprehensive no-profit organization in the nation dedicated to giving kids the confidence to overcome crisis.  Their website is    www.kidspeace.org

This bear will be available to our retailers in addition to schools and organizations.
