| This Week The Maroochy Clippers have come to town at the wrong time, they have sailed right into a storm. For the men Cyclone steve and his merry men are looking to cement a top 3 finish with bowbreaking effort, while in the women there is a hisg pressure system that could work well into the the Ipswich girls favour with their only hope of returning to the finals is if they win every game from here on in and some losses go their way. Should make for a great night of basketball. |
| Results from last week vs Southern Districts 18/8/01 The women fell very short of the mark against the Lady Spartans and will now do it very tough to make the top four, with their chances getting slimmer every week. The men made their run and got behind by just 2 points with under a minute to go, but the ended the Eagles run with a 3 point bomb and then clutch free throws to hol don for the win, denting the Eagles pride as well as turning up the slippery incline that is the travelator to the playoffs! Some good efforts all round but the night just wasn't ours, look for the Eagles to really get their talons out against the Clippers this week at home! |
