Do you know what grinds my gears? Industrie... everybody has them now. The
company has brainwashed little kids to think that wearing Industrie shirts makes
you cool. What's cool is school. School is cool. Not a stupid shirt with a
stupid logo that is spelt incorrectly
On Thursday, I met up with Alan and Sheila at Liverpool to get Susan's
Birthday on a count that it was her and Sandra's birthday party on Sunday and I could not
attend and neither could a lot of other people. We originally arranged for
everybody, except Susan, to go Burwood but this did not go to plan like so many things that
we have "planned" this holidays.
Met Sheila at HMV sitting at the stairs sitting alone looking like she had a
cigarette in her hand. Walked to Toy R' Us, looked at crap and Sheila was stuck
on a whether to get a present for her cousin. Left Toys R's Us, into Priceline where Sheila
wanted to get something for her mother. She did not so we went off to Target.
They are renovating Westfield so many shops were blocked off. Went into Target,
looked at more crap and found a Bart and Homer Racer on like one of those Hot
Wheels things. Scanned it and were surprised to find it was only $40.
Sheila in the end didn't get it because her mother would've told her off for
wasting 40 bucks on a toy rather then something like clothes...
Anyway, went in search for Susan's present, into Myer, Sanity, HMV and it was
all sold out. Went into Sandy Bay mistaking children's clothes for sizes that
would fit Susan. Exited Sandy Bay, went into Toys R' Us again, Sheila bought a
Hungry Homer Game. Bought a card for Susan, went in search for a pen, used the
Newsagency's Lotto pen and went home. Sheila wanted to go into Morning Glory and
Spotlight but Alan and I just kept walking. We then went into the Comic Shop to
piss Sheila off. Went to Happy Cup, Got a Lychee Ice, Alan got a Grape Ice even
though he asked for a Green Apple Ice. Took train to Cabramatta, then bus to
Leightonfield, walked to Caroline's dropped off present seeing as Sheila didn't
know whether she would be allowed to leave her house. Then walked home and went
work.
My Vacation, didn't do much on the first day but go to some beaches and went on
a boardwalk at some National Park. The day was wet and foggy so we didn't get to
do much but stand in the rain looking at fog so we left. Went to a couple of
beaches, Peter and I stood at the shore line and waited for the tide to come in,
laughing at it. Then we made a sand castle that turned
out to be more of a sand pile. We then attempted to make The Great Wall of China
but it ended up more like a question mark. We ended up putting a box around it
and writing "Where is the love?" at the bottom. We only managed to finish a 'W'
and 'is' before we started on a giant pizza. It was suppose to be a Super
Supreme. After a long and tiring day we went in search for the
place we were to stay at. We went around in circles before finally found it.
Watched The Simpsons on Channel Southern Cross 10 and we set out for dinner. We
ended up going to some Chinese restaurant. Got home and Futurama had just
finished. Had a shower, watched cricket, then slept.
Day 2, we took the long drive to Bateman's Bay, the weather improved.
Walked and looked at rock pools. No, I did not go shell collecting. Saw fish and
crabs then left. Stopped at some country town, got ice cream and drinks and
continued our journey to Mogo Zoo. The zoo sucked, the animals didn't look very
happy and we saw a lion chuck a shit. Left the zoo and went to Mc Donalds. Ate
there and we headed back to Nowra. On our way back I noticed we were staying
across the road from a graveyard. We went to have dinner and went to a different
Chinese Restaurant because that was all that was left open. Had shower, watched
The Iron Chef and Rock Kwiz then went outside for a walk then to sleep.
Last Day, we went to a Candle Shack to see how candles were made. Saw mad gothic
candle holders and then left. Went to something Basin nearby, played at park
then left. Went to an Emu Farm, where we saw an emu chuck a shit. Then he showed
us preserved unhatched emus and then he gave us emu pie. Left soon after to have
lunch. We went back to that first Chinese Restaurant and ate. We then left for
home, and stopped at a Chocolate Factory, where I tasted Chilli Chocolate.
Stopped at some place near Wollongong to watch a blow hole. Stopped at a market
place then set off to Wollongong temple. Walked around for a bit watched monks
hit a giant drum and ring a giant bell. Went to the pond and stared at some Koi,
then left for home. We picked up some KFC on our way home and ate.
The entire trip I had 'My Humps' in my head. How I hate that song.
