Look, the thing about my family is there's five of us. Marge, Bart, Girl Bart, the one who doesn't talk, and the fat guy. How I loathe him.
Today has been very hectic, very long and very tiring. It all started when I
woke up at 6:00 which would of been 7:00 because of daylight saving. Anyway, I
left my house at 9:00 (10:00) and arrived at Caroline's house at 9:10 (10:10)
and we were off to Susan's. I had to wait at the creek while Caroline got Susan
and Sheila. It felt like ages until they caught up to me and Susan told me that
at Villawood Shops I had to pretend not to know them seeing as Susan's mum was
also at Villawood Shops. So when we reached Villawood Shops I sat down on a
bench all by myself and Sheila was screaming "David! Do you know the number for
the taxi!" and I just gave them a puzzled look seeing as I didn't know them.
When the taxi finally arrived we set out to Parramatta, costing us $18.00. When
we got inside Westfield we saw some shops closed seeing as it was a public
holiday. First we went into Electronics Boutique to look for a suitable present
for Daniel's Birthday, which is on Saturday (2nd April), but there was none so
we quickly left and went into City Beach. I helped Caroline choose something
'nice' for Daniel's Birthday and there was a 'cute', as Caroline put it, dude
that was helping her take down manakins so she could check out the clothes. The
poor guy nearly ended up taking all the manakins down. When Caroline finally
made a decision we were out of that place but just as we walked out, an alarm
went off and the City Beach Staff came running down and asked the girls to step
back into the store. Turns out the dumbass girl at the counter forgot to take
off that thing in Susan's jeans.
Then we went to Supre but before that we went into Leading Edge, just as it was
opening, when I discover they didn't have the Used Maybe Memories CD/DVD no
more. We looked around looking for possible presents but yet again there was
none so we were off to Supre where I stood by myself but the girls soon came out
and it was off to Target for us.
In Target, the girls went straight to the lip gloss section but later we went to
the Electronics section where I saw every season of The Simpsons except season 1
and as weird as Sheila is, she found her 'beloved Chad' in A Cinderella Story.
Then we went to the Toy section where I found a Justice League playset with
figurines but I wasn't sure whether or not to get it for Daniel so I asked the
girls for a second opinion but instead I see Sheila riding a toy horse around
like an idiot. We then went to look at what was left of the Easter eggs in
Target when Caroline found a Barbie dress up book which also came with 3 eggs,
which I wanted. As we walked to the counter Caroline started screaming and
running because she had found 'her' lip gloss. Then she asked me to check how
much the Barbie book was so I went to the closest scanner and soon came back and
told Caroline it was only $5.15 but she said "I don't want it no more".
After Target, we started getting hungry so we decided to eat but on our way to
the Food Court, we went inside the Electronics Boutique upstairs where I found
something of my liking which I soon bought for Daniel's Birthday. Susan and
Sheila also found their present and we stood around like idiots trying to sort
our money. When we finally sorted out all our money and made it to the counter
the lady offered to keep our bags here with them. What a nice chap, anyway I ate
a BBQ Meat Lovers meal all by myself while Caroline struggled to finish her
cheeseburger. The girls were outraged to receive Barbie My Scene dolls instead
of the My Dog toys inside their Happy Meals, which didn't make them feel any
happier. They said ' They have the boxes but not the toy!', when Susan and I
finished trying to rip the Barbie's head and legs apart, we set off to Supre
again. Sheila and Caroline ran off like idiots and hid behind a pole where they
thought we couldn't see them and ran all the way down to Supre, or so we
thought.
Susan and I went into Supre looking for them but they were nowhere to be seen so
we went back to the escalators where I saw Sheila and Caroline sneaking away but
as I tried to sneak away too, Susan saw them and they went into Supre together.
They spent ages in there but this time Sheila bought something and we set off
once again for City Beach but on our way we stopped at a bra shop, I had never
seen so many bras in one place at a time but I don't usually go into those type
of stores. As we were leaving I saw the most disturbing sight of all, there was
an old fart buying a g-string, how I will ever sleep, I don't know. We then went
into the General Pants where Caroline and Susan were looking at the scarfs but
they then decided to go to City Beach to check out the scarfs there. So Sheila
and I went down to Priceline.
In Priceline, Sheila went to get lip gloss for herself and her mum and as she
was choosing I heard the most energetic, up beat music and I couldn't help but
start to click and dance. Later, Sheila and I were looking at the pads when we
realised they were all cheap rip offs of the real brands. So we left Priceline
with lip gloss and Starbursts. We then went into a shop called Fashion World
where Sheila started looking at the bags there while I stood there dancing
again. Just as we left the store with the bag she had bought she regretted
buying it and we went into City Beach to find Caroline and Susan. Sheila showed
them the bag and they started cracking up and she blamed me for buying it
because I was meant to stop her buying something stupid instead of dancing. So
Sheila and I marched back into the shop and demanded a refund she said "I know
my consumer rights!".. not really instead she made up a bullshit story about how
she bought it for her mum's birthday and she doesn't want it but still the store
manager said they could not refund but instead gave her store credit. We went
back into City Beach, Sheila frustrated and we walked around looking for the
jacket Sheila wanted to get and we realised Sheila's robe was gone. She
regretted buying all the shit that she had bought and we were soon out of City
Beach because Susan and Caroline couldn't make up their minds on their scarfs.
So we went back up to General Pants but quickly returned to City Beach because
the scarfs at the Urban Store were too 'thick'. When Caroline and Susan finally
bought their scarfs we set off for home but first we had to pick up Daniels
present, we left at EB. On the escalators the girls saw a Photo booth where they
wanted to take a photo. There were all sorts of strange noises coming from it as
they were inside and I grabbed Sheila's leg from underneath the curtain she she
started screaming her head off. The girls took forever trying to make the photos
perfect but it didn't turn out right. We soon arrived at EB where we picked up
Daniel's present and went to HMV where I got Family Guy Season 1. Caroline saw a
Jessica Simpson Calendar and said she wanted it but I didn't see the point since
were almost half way through the year already.
We waited for a bus to take us home we waited what seems like forever next to a
butcher where the stench of dead animals stank up the street. On the bus, the
bus driver told us off and when Sheila and Susan got off, Caroline was scared of
the driver so we got off too and walked to Alan's house to pay him a visit. When
there, Alan's Brother, Christian started chasing the girls and we soon left. On
that way home, Caroline and I saw a house with cool doors. I want those doors.
And girls wonder why we hate shopping?
