Cross Country today and my legs are fucking killing me.
It all started as we walked to school, my legs weren't hurting yet. When we
reached school we stood around in the Canteen and Quad until the bell rang and
we sat down for Assembly. Might I add Sheila brought all lollies, chocolate and
chips and I didn't chip in. After Assembly we went to class and did nothing just
bludge as the teacher was making very "important" phone calls. Susan was meant
to go early because she was a Rose Award Recipient but failed to do so because
she didn't want to be bored just sitting there but Chloe came up to our class
and told Susan that Mr Azar was pissed and such so she went. As our teacher
wasn't in the classroom, Phuc turned on the fans and started chucking the
dusters at them. Then the bell went, signally that all classes were to go down
to the Quad and wait till Mr Breccia told everybody where to go and such. When
it was finally our Commerce class the teacher, Mrs Kaidbay, lead us to the wrong
door humiliating herself in front of almost the whole school. When we reached
the Hall we apparently sat in the wrong spot and Mr Azar started telling us off.
When we finally sat in the "correct" spot, Daniel and I immediately started to
annoy Sheila. First, dismounting her chair from everyone else's and then pulling
and pushing her chair back and forth while pulling out strands of her hair. That
entertained us for most of the Rose Assembly and there were these 4 Year 7 Gals
that were singing 'The School Song'. I admire them for their courage but when
they started bowing, they not only crossed the line, they threw up on it!
Anyway, after being shocked and appalled, It was now Recess but as the parents
finally left the Hall, Mr Azar starts telling the whole school off for "not
sitting in the correct spots".
During Recess, all I did was stand there holding Anna's finger as she sang. When
the bell rang we all sat in the Quad during rolecall for the Cross Country. When
we finally took off, after Mr De Jong told some Year 7s off, we set out for the
long journey to Lake Gillawarna. Daniel, Susan and I were playing a rhyming game
which was pretty sad but that kept us entertained until we got a Police Escort
across the Henry Lawson Drive. I feel so important having to get a Police
Escort. Anyway after that, we walked up a steep hill, legs still not hurting, to
the place where we were to sit. The gals were going to be Officials making sure
nobody was to cheat but Sheila got pissed as Mr Kubeka wasn't answering her so
they ended up walking the race. The Year 11s were scabbing our food, I mean
Sheila's, Susan's, Anna's, Laila's and Alan's food, even before we opened it. As
we waited for our event to be announced, we ate and Anna drew love hearts and
smily faces on my legs, while Daniel, Alan and Sina were chucking a tennis ball
around. When our event was finally announced we walked down another steep hill
and waited as the 14-15 gals went before us. As, Mr De Jong blew the gun the
gals walked. When it was time for us to run I just took my time running along
side Daniel but as he accelerated I found myself nigelated until Alan stopped
and waited for me. From then on, I ran with Alan for the rest of the race. Mr
Stuart ran as well never stopping. We stopped a couple of times, well I stopped
as we saw Phuc, Danny, Joseph and Shane at the checkpoint and when I saw Anna,
who had run off from the other gals, and the rest of the gals. When we finally
got to the finish line, Alan had run off and he got 10th while I got 11th and
Daniel got 9th. I sat at our bags, where Russell and Peter were and they told us
they had eaten the rest of the Kettle Chips and half of the M&Ms. Then, out of
nowhere Anna came and she told us that she came 2nd. Then as Sheila, Susan and
Laila struggled back, they were being followed by Mr De Jong as they were the
last of the competitors. When the girls came back I was shocked to hear that
they came 6th, 7th and 8th, as they only walked the entire race. Then we brought
out the Skittles and everyone started to chuck them around creating a food
fight. Then, rolecall again and then we were off back to school. The wait for
the Police Escort wasn't bad as we kept ourselves entertained as Alan tried to
hit on Anna's little sister, Maria but denied it saying that it was Phuc. The
walk back wasn't bad either as we talked and Daniel stacked it. Now it is 5:34pm
and my legs are not only aching but are throbbing. I looked that up in the
Thesaurus.
Sheila is a Pug.
