With the forthcoming referendum on the NICE Agreement, the Socialist Party has issued a number of statements.

The Ahern Government believes in democracy, when it gets what it wants. Because the voters rejected the Nice referendum on Europe the government has decided that it will have another one. Joe Higgins, the SP member of the Dail, has issued a statement putting our position on the referendum, read it here. The Socialist Party will be engaged in organising the No Vote in this referendum, so join us in this campaign.
