Spring interrupts winter's furious rage Bright rays break through the cold cloud of gloom Releasing life from its dormant cage Green weaves the landscape like threads of a loom Ground resurrects its sleeping Blooming color stains the fields Flowers await the sun's meeting Winged streaks of color chorus under forest's steeple Declaring their exuberant freedom All bitter darkness defeated The Creator manifests his harmonious wisdom Magnificent perfection of six days completed From cold clutches of winter's grip was death exhumed Resurrected by spring's warm embrace life now resumed |
