Past:  Chiru wasn't always a vampire, she used to be human, but she fell in love with a vampire.  There's a rumor that if a human can love a Vampire and marry him he can become human again.  Before they could wed, another vampire, a jealous female, turned Chiru into a vampire, hoping her love would no longer want her.  When he still did, the girl tried to kill Chiru.  Her lover sacrificed himself for her.  Ever since she wondered the continent with no real place to go.
