The preferred system, which is particularly intended for use as a sonic weapon, comprises a sound source; means for separating the sound into a plurality of discrete frequency components including a fundamental component and at least one additional component, each additional component having a frequency twice that of the next lowest frequency component; means for adjusting the phase difference between each frequency component and the next lowest frequency component to substantially; means for colinearly focusing the components on the remote location; and means for rendering the transmission medium nonlinear between the focusing means and the remote location.

Pressure pulses are generated in each acoustic source at substantially the same time. The pressure pulses exit the output ends as sonic pulses. Interaction of the sonic pulses generates a Mach disk, a non-linear shock wave that travels along an axis perpendicular to the planar array with limited radial diffusion. The Mach disk retains the intensity of the sonic pulses for a time and a distance significantly longer than that achievable from a single sonic source. The acoustic cannon is useful as a non-lethal weapon to disperse crowds or disable a hostile target.

Apparatus for and method of sensing brain waves at a position remote from a
subject whereby electromagnetic signals of different frequencies are
simultaneously transmitted to the brain of the subject in which the signals
interfere with one another to yield a waveform which is modulated by the
subject's brain waves. The interference waveform which is representative of
the brain wave activity is re-transmitted by the brain to a receiver where it is
demodulated and amplified. The demodulated waveform is then displayed for
visual viewing and routed to a computer for further processing and analysis.
The demodulated waveform also can be used to produce a compensating
signal which is transmitted back to the brain to effect a desired change in
electrical activity therein.

Brain wave patterns associated with relaxed and meditative states in
a subject are gradually induced without deleterious chemical or
neurological side effects. A white noise generator (11) has the
spectral noise density of its output signal modulated in a manner

A non-lethal weapon for temporarily immobilizing a target subject by
means of muscular tetanization in which the tetanization is produced
by conducting a precisely-modulated electrical current through the
target. Because the electrical current is a close replication of the
physiological neuroelectric impulses which control striated muscle
tissue, it tetanizes the subject's skeletal muscles without causing
any perceptible sensation. The transmission of this current to the
distant target is via two channels of electrically conductive air. The
conductive channels are created by multi-photon and collisional
ionization within the paths of two beams of coherent (laser) or
columnated incoherent ultraviolet radiation directed to the target. A
single beam may be used to tetanize a grounded target. The
high-voltage tetanizing current flows from electrodes at the origin of
the beams along the channels of free electrons within them.

An integrated circuit antenna structure for transmitting or receiving
millimeter and/or submillimeter wave radiation having an antenna relatively

A current sensor for measuring the DC component of a beam of charged
particles employs a superconducting pick-up loop probe, with twisted
superconducting leads in combination with a Superconducting Quantum
Interference Device (SQUID) detector. The pick-up probe is in the form of a
single-turn loop, or a cylindrical toroid, through which the beam is directed
and within which a first magnetic flux is excluded by the Meisner effect.
The SQUID detector acts as a flux-to-voltage converter in providing a
current to the pick-up loop so as to establish a second magnetic flux
within the electrode which nulls out the first magnetic flux. A feedback
voltage within the SQUID detector represents the beam current of the
particles which transit the pick-up loop. Meisner effect currents prevent
changes in the magnetic field within the toroidal pick-up loop and produce
a current signal independent of the beam's cross-section and its position
within the toroid, while the combination of superconducting elements
provides current measurement sensitivites in the nano-ampere range.

A system and method for power beaming energy from a source at
high frequencies and rectifying such energy to provide a source of DC

10 GHz and incorporates a rectenna array having a plurality of
rectenna structures that utilize circuit elements formed with

A radiation detector for free space microwave radiation uses thin film
resistive strips, having an equivalent surface resistivity that is large
compared to the characteristic impedance of free space, and diode
circuits in series with the strips for deriving signals monitoring the
radiation intensity over a broad frequency range. The diode circuits

The govt. officers., usually block the patents of electronic devices which will be useful to them and under many cover like 'national security' or 'it will not work' will prevent it going on the market.
