Pinwheel Cookies
3C flour
1C butter ( and I mean butter, margarine makes these cookies as hard as concrete, Anchor is suggested)
2C sugar
1 egg
¼ C milk
2t vanilla extract
1/3 cocoa
1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Add egg
3. Fold it and lastly add the milk, vanila and flour
4. Divide the battter in half. To ½ add coca and mix
5. Roll between wax paper. After rolling both halves, put the chocolate batterr on top of the other
6. Roll them as in jelly roll. Chill (preferably overnight, in fact in the freezer would be better)
7. when firm, cut into thin slices
8. Bake at 300F for 15-20 minutes
