HR MOMENTS TO PONDER
WHY do we HRs think that there may be (or could be) something going on between Jonny and Jessie?
Here's a catalog of moments that make us go "Hey..."
(Collection of pictorial evidence progresses slowly but surely.)

THE DARKEST FATHOMS
Jonny rescues Jessie. (OK, and his dad.)
RAGE'S BURNING WHEEL
Jessie saves Jonny from getting shot. They share a high-five.
NDOVU'S LAST JOURNEY
Jessie refuses to allow Jonny to go off on his own after the elephant.
MANHATTAN MANEATER
Jonny and Jessie sit together in a booth. (Yes, I'm really reaching here.;)
EZEKIEL RAGE
In the final act:
When it seems that Jonny has been overcome by the nerve gas, Jessie looks distraught.
Jonny performs some spectacular heroics to get aboard Rage's cargo plane.
When Rage's plane lurches, Jessie is pitched forward into Jonny's arms.
They share a parachute.
RETURN OF THE ANASAZI
At one point Jonny puts his arms around Jessie while they're in the train and being buzzed by mysterious lights. (It lasts about a second.)
And who knows what happened during that long trek to New Mexico?;)
THE ALCHEMIST
Jonny saves Jessie from falling off the scaffolding.
AMOK
Well, walks in the rain are always romantic...
BESIEGED IN PARADISE
Jessie gives Jonny artificial respiration.
Then she hugs him when he rescues her from the underwater grotto.
EXPEDITION TO KHUMBU
Jessie ruffles Jonny's hair and calls him "hotshot" -- the first time we hear her pet name for him.
Later, she tries to comfort Jonny when he's upset over the possible loss of his father.

Jonny says to Hadji, " You have to admit, she's pretty cool" refering to Jessie.
ICE WILL BURN
How about that big hug at the very end? Eh? Eh?
HEROES
I may be reaching here, but I noticed that Jonny only attacked Surd after seeing the petrified Jessie.
FUTURE RAGE
Jonny compliments Jessie effusively on her Carla performance at the end.
26. TO BARDO AND BACK
Jonny puts a hand on Jessie's shoulder when they're visiting Race in the hospital.
MUMMIES OF MALENQUE
He saves her -- well, he tries -- from the quicksand.
She saves him from plummeting off the cliff.
Jessie follows him fearlessly into the copper mines.
He grabs her hand at the end after she recovers.
BLOODLINES
When Jessie is lassoed by one of the thugs, Jonny attacks the perp with the battle-cry "Jessie!"
And when Jessie takes the co-pilot's controls to help land the Dragonfly, Jonny looks at her with a "wow, she's cool" look.

At the end of the show (while Hadji is making his speech to the people
of Bangalore) Jonny is looking at Jessie as everyone else watches
Hadji.
THE DARK MOUNTAIN
They share a snowmobile.
Jonny pushes Jessie behind him when they face the aliens in the cave.
CYBERSWITCH
Jonny has a big grin on his face when he recognizes Jessie's voice as the voice of Race's car.
Jessie gasps when Surd announces he's going to transfer his mind to Jonny's body.
UNDERSEA URGENCY
Jonny hugs Jessie when she's undergoing an anxiety attack. She clings to him for an extra moment to gather her wits.
GHOST QUEST
The Kiss. Also known as definitive evidence and the affirmation of the HRA.
And as HR Scouts Lincon and Jess pointed out, "Even after the ghost had left them, the kiss went on for a while longer, and would have gone on longer if Hadji hadn't interrupted them. arghh!!"
Adds HR Scout Alyce Dixon, "And let us not forget that the ghostly lovers were dead
ringers (er, no pun intended) for Jonny and Jessie. Obviously an
indication that Jonny and Jessie must pick up where there predecessors left off
and have the happy life they didn't. In other words, Jonny and Jessie
are MEANT TO BE. (But we knew that.)"
ECLIPSE
Jonny saves Jessie from getting run over by a streetcar.
When Jessie is freaking over Hadji, Jonny tries to divert her attention.
The Hoverboard Chase.
And when she's grabbed by the demon, Jonny grabs onto the demon's leg to try and save her.
WITHOUT A TRACE
Jonny calls Jessie "Ace" (his pet name for her) during their Questworld game.
OTHER SPACE
They hold hands when they're about to enter the portal.
DIGITAL DOUBLECROSS
Jonny sends Jessie off on the last shield to save her during the battle with the big bug.

Jessie put her hands around Jonny while he is driving the "hover chariot" they share and her hands go completely around him when he is unconscious and she is driving.
THE BANGALORE FALCON
Another apparently anti-HR episode, but there were moments:
Jessie looks annoyed when Jonny looks admiringly at Anaya.
When Jessie first tussles with the birdnapper, Jonny's the first one to come to her aid.
DIAMONDS AND JADE
Jonny says Jessie's a lot like Jade, and since Jonny likes Jade...
HAUNTED SONATA
Jessie saves Jonny from a falling wall.
Much teasing about breakfasts and such.

Jonny's arm is around Jessie's neck a brief second after she saves him
from the falling ceiling.
Jonny helps Jessie up after the ghost of Anna carries her into the next room.

Jesse looks really annoyed when she saw Jonny drooling over
what's her face. I just call her piano girl. (Ed's note: Irena. a.k.a. the Anti-Jessie.:) And Jonny gets annoyed when he
sees Jesse drooling over that older guy with the ponytail. (Ed: Milos.)I see a pattern
here.
Jonny sees that Jesse likes the ponytail guy, so in an attempt to make her
jealous he pretends to dig the piano girl.
THE ROBOT SPIES
When Jessie tries to go after her father, Jonny throws his arms around her to stop him.

As Jade and Estella are climbing up the rope into freedom, Jonny and
Jessie watch from below. Think there's nothing romantic about that?
They were holding hands. =)
